Angiosarcoma is a cancerous disease of the inner lining of the blood vessels and it can occur in any area of the body. The disease may occur in the skin, breast, liver, spleen and deep tissue. It appears like a skin infection, bruise or a lesion that cannot be cured. It may be visible in violet color as a soft lump that can be felt or seen.

It can be diagnosed by using one of the following methods:• Physical exam• CT scan• MRI scan• PET scan• Biopsy
HOW IS ANGIOSARCOMA TREATED?
The Oncologist may treat this cancer with the help of chemotherapy and radiation. This is usually carried out before or after the surgery, depending on the treatment plan and severity of the tumour and its spread.
