Ophthalmoparesis or ophthalmoplegia is a condition that refers to weakening of the extraocular muscles or even their paralysis. This can happen with both or either one of the muscles, which basically help in the eye movements. Symptoms of the same include trouble in blinking the eyes, moving the eyes, looking at a particular angle from the eyes, etc.

Diagnosis of the same is done by an ophthalmologist who would observe the eye functions and may check muscular tissues too.
HOW IS OPHTHALMOPLEGIA TREATED?
Special glasses or sometimes even an eye patch could be advised to help relieve symptoms of blurred and double vision.
