इस दवा को संक्रमण, सामान्य सर्दी और एलर्जी के कारण उत्पन्न होने वाली छाती के संकुलन को कम करने के लिए लिया जाता है। यह एक कफ निस्सारक है, यह गले और छाती में जमा कफ को कम करके मुँह के माध्यम से बाहर निकालना आसान कर देता है।
