I am suffering from severe lower back pain. Whenever I start stretching the left lower back starts paining. I have done x-rays several times. The report says there's no injury in bones. I think it's the problem of nerves. Suggest me any therapy or medicine for this.

At your age most common cause of backache is faulty habits and posture. Correct your posture while sitting along with start with stretching exercise gradually. Apply hot water packs twicee daily. Hope this help you in your query.

In normal day to day activities we don't do sits up activities so our body is not accustomed to it if you have started exercises then gradually build your stamina and increase sit ups number. Start with calcium supplements and vitamin d supplementation that will help you. For calcium start with the tablet that is providing you elemental calcium of 500 mg. Single dose is more compliant then twice daily dosage. And vit d 60000 iu weekly it's available in sachet or tablets what ever you are comfortable. U need to consult a doctor and get it blood investigations done. As per complaints it can be viral disease. It usually takes 4 to 5 days to recover.

You need to get xray of the knees both in standing ap and lateral views to acess the joint condition along with it try to loose your weight if overweight to less out the burden on the knees and start quadriceps strenthening execrcises at home, you cannot take analgesics for long time as it have deletirious effect on your body. Continue with thyronorm medication and apply local ointment and hot water packs thrice daily, for further assisatance can send your xray and can discuss in detail.

Dear lybrate-user before getting into extensive workout its advised to warmup your body with streching and from day 1 st you cannot acclerate the things right from the word go. Increase with time and as per body demands. Skipping will definately help you in loosing weight rather any excercise will but along with it need the check your diet intake and sugar intake for optimum results.
