How can I grow beard for first time ?
Growth of my facial hair is not yet started and I am
Already 19 years.
Beard growth depends upon no of hair follicles on face and testosterone level in blood. Sometime growth occurs at a later age. So, instead of taking medicines just wait for few more months.

I am totally depressed of my life. I tried to commit suicide a lot of time . But I could not because I love my family. They do not know about my suicidal feeling . My family loves me too. But today I am feeling alone. Do not want to survive. My family loves me but I think I do not deserve their love.

I am totally depressed of my life. I tried to commit suicide a lot of time . But I could not because I love my family...
Hello lybrate-user, suicide is most cowardice act. Don't waste life, some people are far more unfortunate than you, still they are fighting with the situations. Your depression is because of some guilt which you are unable to express. Be brave, try to share your guilt with the person who loves you most and in whom you too have trust. It will definitely reduce the guilt and depression. If you are not finding anybody nearby, just express you feeling to god, as he is the sole creature of all living beings. He has introduced all of us in this world with some plannings. Like in a movie, every character has a significance, similarly in this world every person has some significance. So do not think of suicide. Remove the guilt and start a new life. There are hundreds of people who needs you.

If you had periods after taking contraceptive pills and have no history of intercourse after that, then there are least chances of pregnancy. Sometimes, after taking contaceptives, period dates gets disturbed. So wait for periods, at least 1 week more and if still period doen't come, get a urine pregnancy test done.

Is vitiligo a result of one of the following - Vit D deficiency, Vit B12 deficiency or high cholesterol? What are the natural ways to overcome the problem?

MD (Panchkarma), PGD Yog Science, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), CPARK (Kerala)
Ayurveda, Haldwani
Vitiligo occurs due to the melanin deficiency. Vit d deficiency, b12 deficiency can also be there. Natural ways to overcome are:- 1. Sit under the sun during morning hours for 30 minutes exposing the vitiligo patches. 2. Drink triphala water 500 ml to 1 liter per day. 3. Eat barley (jau) dishes at least one time a day. If you can apply bakuchi oil on patches/ vitiligo lesions before sitting in sun, it would be more beneficial. Warning:- bakuchi oil sometimes causes skin itching, eruptions after sitting in sun. If these occurs, apply coconut oil for few days on lesions, then continue bakuchi oil again. You can take few ayurvedic medicines too along with which helps in healing faster. Get well soon.

No shampoo helps to attain healthy hair, keep this in mind. 1. Get proper nutrition for you hairs. I. E. Calcium, iron, zinc and vitamins. You can have saptamrita lauh bhasma 500 mg plus yashad bhasm 250 mg with honey 2 times a day. 2. Never go outside with oil applied on your hairs, as this cause dirt deposition on you scalp. 3. Daily massage your head with some ayurvedic oil like, bringraj oil or durvadi tail or dhatoorpatradi oil at night and wash the hairs in the morning with dahi n besan. This is one of the best conditioner for your hair. 4. Apply amla and mehndi powder paste made in an iron vessel oncle in a week. Wash it after 1 hour. Hope this will help you.

During rainy season, hairfall upto 100 hairs is almost normal. However if your are facing this issues from more than 6 months, then this can be problematic. Their are various ayurvedic treatments for hair fall. But for you I would suggest a treatment named" kuttan" in which little pricks are done on the scalp followed by some local medication application. Secondly, take some medicine for increasing calcium and iron, for that you can take 1. Saptamrit lauh 500 mg plus godanti bhasma 500 mg take them orally mixed in honey. Do this 2 times a day 3. Take triphala ghrita or pure cow ghee 1 tsf mixed in milk in the morning and night. Get well soon.
