Hearing Treatment is given based on the hearing type found in the patient's history. Hearing types may be of three type's namely conductive hearing loss, Sensorineural hearing loss, mixed hearing loss and there are various causes relating to each of this. Conductive hearing loss occurs due to the malformation of outer ears, ear canal or middle ear.it may also occur due to the fluid formation in the middle ear. Treatment for these are basically due to birth defects and can be corrected only by means of surgery. If the surgery does not work out, then bone amplified hearing aid procedure is followed. Sensorineural hearing loss occurs due to the exposure to loud noise, head trauma, auto immune inner disease or tumors. Based on the symptoms of the sensory organs, the hearing treatment is conducted by giving medicines and breathing exercises to relax the reflex nerves. There are cases where in it is termed as irreversible sensorial hearing loss to which only hearing aids are the only source of help. The other type of hearing loss is mixed hearing refers to the combination of conductive and sensorineural which needs to be treated with utmost care since it involves complex treatment where the nerves surrounding the ear would have become inflamed and has to be treated only through tablets and therapies, some exercise to relax the nerves from the inflammation will also help.
