Is it possible for periods to get delayed fr as long as 15 days, if a girl is under stress or depression?

Is it possible for periods to get delayed fr as long as 15 days, if a girl is under stress or depression?
Emotional and physical stress can affect the menstrual cycle and delay the period. Stress decreases hormone signals originating in the brain. This results in the failure of the ovary to release an egg. This causes an imbalance in the ovarian hormones estrogen and progesterone. So yes, stress and depression can be one of the reasons for a missed period. Regards,

Hi, Please don't blame each other. Don't spoil your relationship. Please know that not able to insert penis in vagina is not uncommon. You are not the only couple with this difficulty. It will benefit you to understand why penis is not going inside. Study attentively and you will stop blaming each other. Your relationship will become beautiful. No surgery is needed. Should I see a Fertility Specialist?

Should I see a Fertility Specialist?

Should I see a fertility specialist?

Perhaps you've been under a lot of stress lately. Or, maybe your partner is always traveling during the right time. If you hear yourself making excuses month after month for seemingly unexplained infertility, then it might be time to sit down with a fertility specialist to uncover the root cause of the problem.

What many men and women don't realize is that early diagnosis is key. Many times, if a problem is diagnosed, it can take months to treat and suddenly there you are, almost a year later, starting to try all over again.

The solution? don't wait. Here, we've narrowed down 4 signs that it's time to pick up the phone or hop online - to make an appointment for a fertility consultation asap. But as a general rule, if you are even asking yourself this question, the answer is yes.

1. You've been trying and trying, and trying

Trying to conceive with no luck can be incredibly frustrating, but the fact is that 1 in 8 couples struggle with infertility. Experts agree that women over the age of 35 should wait no more than 6 months of trying before seeing a specialist. That wait extends to just one year for the under 35 crowd. It's also a good idea for your partner to join you and not just to hold your hand: studies show that male partners contribute to over 40 percent of infertility cases.

2. You have a pre-existing condition

There are a number of health conditions that can have a huge impact on a woman's fertility and while some of these may have been diagnosed as early on as childhood, others are silent and can go completely undetected. From uterus abnormalities and hormonal imbalances to endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome (pcos), the sooner these issues are brought to light and treated, the better your chances for a happy, healthy baby.

3. You've had more than one miscarriage

Many women have multiple miscarriages and go on to have perfectly normal pregnancies. However, this can also indicate that chromosomal abnormalities, hormonal issues or even structural issues in the cervix or uterine lining are at play. Fortunately, most of these conditions are treatable, but only after a proper examination can the diagnosis be made.

4. You've had irregular or absent periods

There is certainly no shortage of potential reasons for why you may be experiencing menstrual irregularity. Diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome and increased exercise are all common causes. Many are surprised to learn that over-exercising and weight loss can actually cause you to have no period (amenorrhea) whatsoever. The ever present relationship between stress and infertility can wreak havoc on regular periods, too.

By taking notes on any and all symptoms you may be experiencing and discussing them with a fertility specialist, you'll be able to diagnose your own personal reason even sooner.

Take control of your Cholestrol

B.H.M.S ( Mumbai) (Silver Medalist), Certificate In Gyn and Obstetric
Homeopath, Noida
Take control of your Cholestrol
Cholesterol is a waxy substance that's found in the fats in your blood. While your body needs cholesterol to continue building healthy cells, having high cholesterol can increase your risk of heart disease.
Cholesterol is carried through your blood, attached to proteins. This combination of proteins and cholesterol is called a lipoprotein. There are different types of Lipoprotein in your blood:
• Low-density lipoprotein (LDL). LDL, or "bad," cholesterol transports cholesterol particles throughout your body. LDL cholesterol builds up in the walls of your arteries, making them hard and narrow causing Atherosclerosis..
• Very-low-density lipoprotein (VLDL). This type of lipoprotein contains the most triglycerides, a type of fat, attached to the proteins in your blood. VLDL cholesterol makes LDL cholesterol larger in size, causing your blood vessels to narrow
• High-density lipoprotein (HDL). HDL, or "good," cholesterol picks up excess cholesterol and takes it back to your liver from where it is excreted.
How to know if you are at risk of High Cholestrol:
• Obesity. Having a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or greater puts you at risk of high cholesterol.
• Large waist circumference. Your risk increases if you are a man with a waist circumference of at least 40 inches (102 centimeters) or a woman with a waist circumference of at least 35 inches (89 centimeters).
• Poor diet. Foods that are high in cholesterol, such as red meat, egg yolk, full-fat dairy products, trans fats, found in some commercially baked cookies, will increase your total cholesterol.
• Lack of exercise. Exercise helps boost your body's HDL "good" cholesterol while lowering your LDL "bad" cholesterol. Not getting enough exercise puts you at risk of high cholesterol.
• Diabetes. High blood sugar contributes to higher LDL cholesterol and lower HDL cholesterol. High blood sugar also damages the lining of your arteries.
• Smoking: Smoking damages the walls of your arteries and also decreases your good cholesterol.
Prevention:
1) Diet: Top foods to lower your cholesterol and protect your heart are:
a) Oats: Oats contain soluble fibre which decreases your LDL (Bad cholesterol)
b) Fatty Fish: Fish has no effect on LDL but eating fatty fish can be heart healthy because of its high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, which can reduce your blood pressure and risk of developing blood clots ,thus preventing Heart attacks.
c) Flaxseed
d) Walnuts, almonds and other tree nuts can improve blood cholesterol. Rich in mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids, walnuts also help keep blood vessels healthy.
e) Cook in Monounsaturated fat — found in olive, peanut and canola oils .
f) Eat whole grain breads and whole fruits to add fibre to your diet.
2) Exercise: Brisk walk for 30-60 minutes daily.
3) Reduce your weight.
4) Limit your alcohol intake.
5) Quit smoking.
6) Follow a Mediterranean diet which is Heart healthy.

Endometriosis is one of the most important causes of infertility and is rendering your happiness of being a mother ,away from you. So I suggest you to get urself investigated regarding your ovarian reserve and tubes status to come to a conclusion and decide about which way you can get pregnant bcoz this cyst wil keep on recurring and might hamper ovaries.
