Respected sir my kid who is now 5 and a half year old was detected with bilateral relfux. His treatment is going under local expert doctors. We are not satisfy with the results till now. The condition is getting worst day by day. His bilateral urinary replacement is done. Still with his latest report we found that he has protienosis +, acidosis +, high blood pressure, and serum creatinine is 1.1 mg. We are just so worried and cant think of something else than his health.

MD - Paediatrics
Pediatrician, Ranchi
I would like to know whether reports are worsening or improving. What do you mean by bilateral urinary replacement(was ureterostomy done and if yes then when)? Also how severely the kidney is affected(was DMSA test done). Once the surgical decompression done the reflux decreases and the reports starts improving. Please attach the reports and provide details so that I better able to help you out. Regards

General Physician,
This is enuresis and you can stop it by making him pass before sleeping and wake him up in between sleep and take to toilet. Do not give any fluids 2 hours before sleep time.

Dear Lybrate user, During lactation period better to avoid medicines. Do - 1) Avoid excess Salt & Spicy food 2) If you have constipation than cure it 3) Take boiled water added sunthi powder in it to drink 4) Increase Milk & Milk Product in Diet 5) For Locally application I advice Shalmali Kantak + Yastimadhu Powder+Lodhra powder + Keshar + Swetachandan(Sukkhad) + Raktachandan powder+mungdaal - prepare paste of it and apply on face thick layer before complete dryness remove it and wash face with warm water Lepam Can't be applied before Sunrise and after sunset.

My baby is 3 months old. She has constipation from birth. She takes 3 to 4 days to pass the motion. Can you suggest a solution for this?

M.D.( Pediatrics), DCH
Pediatrician,
If she is passing normal soft stools once in 3-4 days it's OK. No treatment required, keep yourself cool.

Your child is grossely malnourished so prone to recurrent infections. Anyway sponge wholebody with tap water for 30 minutes & give him liquid paracetamol for immediate relief. Later on improve diet, add butter, egg & feed him more frequently.
