If it is tension related you need to de-stress yourself. Take a break. Do what you you love to do and regain fresh mind o study. Alternatively, you do pranayaam as taught by baba ramdev on astha channel 5.30 to 7 am. Very very effective- esp anulom-vilom if you like or bramri and udgit are a must. You will get miraculous results!

If you have ACL injury i think it is best to get it reconstructed Arthroscopically to prevent joint degeneration and maintain stability of joint. Hello Dr. My mother have a problem in left leg pain in leg and knees and below knee pain and swelling near ankle to feet. May your mother problem ortho arthritis in that case only females 90% so you can take treatment fist orthopedic doctor a x-ray also so you at home hot water, toble deep in hot water some time recover on knee when she feel cool agene do this & some exercises self you can also go any physiotherapy good treatment that problem short out physiotherapy + hot water + exercises = feeling batter but every things regular 2 months OK some days full bad rest.

Add two cups of Epsom salt in Luke warm water in a bucket. Dip you leg for about 20 minutes. This will give you instant relief. You could add 5 drops of lavender essential oil to this water. This will calm down all the stress. Let me know if it helped.

Low back pain in young girls is usually because of weakness of back muscles. You need to strengthen your back muscles. Vitamin d and calcium deficiency is very common in girls. You need some medicines and exercises.

Dear lybrate-user, You may continue your breathing exercise daily. It will give you relief. As you have mentioned about your hand and chest ps in, it seems these are gastric pain. Take care of your diet. You may also call back with more symtoms for homeo treatment.

Hi. I have gone through a total hip replacement caused due to an accident. Its been an year now i have a discharge at times coming from the operated leg. How soon this should be treated and what are the complications?

If the wound is still discharging, then it's not good news. Tests need to be done to know if the hip replacement is infected. If confirmed, then the only way of controlling the infection is to remove the implants. Once infection is controlled, a revision hip can be done.

Avoid exercise do tens therapy and ultrasonic therapy and hot fermentation and avoid long standing it will reduce your pain and complain after relief do stretching exercise and strength exercise in gradually.

Avoid those activities which cause pain. Take rest for two weeks. Don't do weight lifting exercises. Continue other exercises like cardio and running cycling. Apply ice 5 times daily for ten minutes every time. You will feel better in few days.

You need to get bones checked for osteoporosis. Get bone densitimetry done or show to ortho surgeon.

Good evening lybrate-user from your question I have understood that your leg pain must be due a muscle pull. What I would advice you to do is the following > start with cold water fermentation for about 20 minutes. > then tie a crape bandage to your leg and elevate your leg for 1 hour. > then if your pain still does not go you could take a session of 10 days of ift therapy or ultrasound therapy (physio treatments) for your leg. This would definately help you. Also visit a ortho doctor and get the right type of pain killers.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Joint & back pain 1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. Life-style correction 1) correct your sitting posture. 2) take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) foot should rest to floor easily. 4) take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days.
