Dear lybrate-user, your back problem if severe can be because of many reasons. Get yourself checked by the physician and tell me the report. And you should do these yogasanas- supine hamstring stretch. Two knee twist. Do this regularly and daily to get relieved.

I have pain 2 to 3 inches above and below knee and back side of knee. It feels like muscular pain. Muscles get tired on climbing stairs but get better after 10 seconds of climbing. Is the related to muscle, ligaments or nerves? Which specialist shall I consult? My age is 33 years.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold). Standing calf stretch stand away from a wall and. Put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Its good you go to gym but do exersizes which strenthns and fexibility your back muscle such as suryanamskar and diffrent yogasans. Also change your sitting position when you r infront of computer. Take rest and move after every 45 minutes when you work on computer. And take internal medicine to increse musle strent and flexibility. So your pain reduce permantaly.

Hello lybrate-user, you need to follow sone diet instructions here to not to get repeated allergies - avoid curds - avoid taking fish and milk on the same day -avoid taking tamirind and it's based cool drinks - avoid chees paneer - take amla ras 25ml with water daily twice - take haridrakhanda churna 1spn with water daily twice before food report aftr 15 days. For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise. Hamstring stretchingtowel hamstring stretch lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated hamstring stretch while sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds repeat 3 times for each leg.

I am a 50 year old man. For the past 1 month, I have pain in my right shoulder which gradually stretches in the right hand and even till d fingers. What is it? is it something worrisome. 3months back I had pneumonia also but now its totally cured. My sugar is- fasting 104, after eating 144. Bp is in control as I regularly take medicine. Details of how you got it and whether there is a wound should have been mentioned . For early relief you strictly may require rest with leg stretched in front some pain killers like Ibugesic Plus or Paracetamol tablets and care for the wound if any

I'm a medical student. Since the last two-three weeks or so I have a mild back ache in my lower back especially on flexion of the back. It all started as a minor ache on waking up one morning but relieved on its own in the initial few days but then since last two three weeks or so it does not go away even after a diclofenac spray over the area. Also since childhood I had a habit of sleeping with my back curled but since a few months i've been trying to sleep straight. Is it related to that.

Hi physical inactivity is one of greatest reason for bony pain this days. Remaining pathological changes like severe decrease in back bone spaces c/a intervertebral spaces, compression of nerve, fractures, tb, osteomylitis, physiological like kyposis or scoliosis like disease of back bones may gives you pain. Even wrong sleeping posture or more spongy bed can gives you pain. Muscular spasm over back can pains alot. I had explain in lyman language hope you understood please better you go for x ray. Do exercises. Apply ayurvedic oils like narayan tail do massage daily.

You need to strengthen your spinal muscles and for strengthening exercises can be learned from neuro physiotherapist at present for your pain do take ift and laser therapy for 12 days of 15 minutes duration each time from neuro physiotherapist use firm even and hard mattress for sleep

If you have localized back pain with - no neurological symptoms like numbness, paresthesia, weakness in limbs etc, my advice is: - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a physiotherapist and then at home. - avoid forward bending, lifting heavy weights etc - take an analgesic like diclofenac or something which suits your body for 5-7 days - take muscle relaxant for same time as analgesic to relieve muscle spasm - ice packs at the site of pain, muscle spasm - local analgesic spray can be used but no massage is required let me know how you are feeling. I will actually ask you to get x ray of involved region of spine (ap & lateral) and send reports across to me so that I can advise further in a better manner.
