Hello, the causes of premature graying hair includes-" a hormonal imbalance, hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, malnutrition, pernicious anaemia, nutritional deficiency, using electric dryers and concentrated hair dyes, as well as genetic disorders, chemotherapy and radiation, are all factors. At times, a few gray hairs can develop in children as young as 8 years and then it is generally progressive with increasing age. *first of all you should correct your diet because what we are eating, that is reflecting on our body, so we should take foods that are rich in iron and zinc help our body to fight against white hairs. Eat these following foods; like mushrooms, corns, green leafy vegetables, almonds etc. Avoid too much oily foods. Drink adequate water. Our homoeopathy also helps to reduce and prevent the hair fall. 1. You should take lycopodium 200, 5 drops once in 15 days, morning empty stomach. 2. Take wiesbaden 200, 5 drops, once a day. 3. Apply jaborandi hair oil (sbl) on your hair and scalp thrice in a week. 4. Wash the hair with montana herbal shampoo (sbl). 5. Take amla powder +seasame seed powder, 1-1 tsp both with water once daily.

I am 26 years old female. I was having thyroid problem in past. Now my T3 and T4 are normal but my TSH is little high. Is it OK or I still have Thyroid. I have deficiency in iron because of which my hair are thin. Now my hair have started turning grey. I have heard about blackstarp molasses that it will reverse my greying process. Is it ok to consume.

Hello, There is slight increase in TSH levels which indicate borderline Hypothyroidism. Due to hypothyroidism, the hairloss occurs as well as greying of hair also takes place. So, keep taking medication as per advised by your physician. Medication: For premature greying and hairloss, you can take homoeopathic medicines - Weisbaden 200/ twice daily and Kali Phos. 6x/ once at night only. Take them for 4 weeks, then get back to me.

Factors You Need to Consider Before Opting for BREAST IMPLANTS

MBBS, Diploma in Venerology & Dermatology (DVD)

Factors You Need to Consider Before Opting for BREAST IMPLANTS

Breast health is a common concern among a lot of women these days. Not just due to medical reasons like breast cancer and others, a woman may choose to get a breast implant done for other reasons as well, particularly for cosmetic reasons like enhancing her appearance and giving her femininity the best shot.

But here are a few factors that you should consider before opting for breast implants.

1. Size of the implant -
The size of the implant can affect your daily life to a large extent; therefore, you need to decide on it judiciously. Consider the nature of your work and the kind of lifestyle that you lead, and accordingly take a decision regarding the size of your implant. This is important because added weight and volume to your breasts can significantly impact your movement. So, choose a size that allows you to lead a comfortable and free life post the implant.

2. Material of the implant - Breast implant can be of two types, namely saline implant and silicone implant.

Saline implants are nothing but silicone shells filled with either salt water or sterile saline water. They are safer because it is easier to detect when they break. However, they can easily wrinkle.

On the other hand, silicone options are implants that are filled with silicone gel. They feel more natural than saline implants, but the ruptures are harder to detect. They need a lot of post-implant care, which includes regular medical checkups and MRIs.

Therefore, choose the kind of implant you wish to opt for carefully according to your personal preferences.

3. Recovery period - Since breast implantation is a surgical procedure, it takes time for your body to adjust with the intervention, recover and get back to being normal. Therefore, consider adjusting your schedule and the recovery period to avoid any inconvenience.

4. Awareness is the key - Although technology has significantly advanced in the recent days, it is not free from flaws. Doctors and researchers are continuously working to reduce the complications and risks associated with the procedure, yet it is best for you to be aware of all the risks to minimize the loss.

you may attempt the following and see how it works: I know you have probably tried a de-addiction center but he should not have been released if he was not ready. So in this attempt, he may be taken to another de-addiction center that is stricter and will also have a follow-up treatment and AA meetings for him to compulsorily attend. Whatever I suggest, kindly involve or share it with mom or elder family members to make it effective and suffer the least backlashes, if any. Ideally, your brother should want to give up alcohol himself to begin with. If not, it is going to be an uphill task and to the most part impossible. However, you should not be in want of trying. If he is unwilling to seek help, he needs to be admitted to a rehabilitation center for at least 6 months. If not, there are centers who will come and pick him up when he is drunk, when his resistance will be ineffective. This will require mom's or his wife's permission and written consent. After your brother returns from therapy, there will be a lot of follow-ups, both in the house and in his daily activities that must be meticulously adhered to. There is a medicine called Disulfiram, which only the doctor can prescribe, and it is very powerful that even if he attempts to drink a small quantity, he can have serious reactions that may sometimes entail hospitalization. You have to monitor his intake of the medicine and keep a close watch on him. He also has to go for regular counseling for at least three years! Apart from his health, he will also affect the family and all his children will carry genetic factors for alcoholism. If he is into business or working, he will soon not be able to continue and he will go into financial ruin. He will lose all his friends and become ostracized by his society. He will lose his dignity, self-esteem, self-confidence, and become a misfit. He will also lose his sexual capacity, liver function, heart function, kidney etc. These are all symptoms of 'Hitting Rock Bottom' Now it is difficult to give up because he has become addicted to alcohol for some time and has a lot to do. The consumption of Antabuse has to be carefully monitored to see that he not only consumes the medication but is also avoiding alcohol. Ultimately, it is his will power and the support that he receives from the medical fraternity and his close and dear ones. He must also learn to substitute and deal with the oral need, a rigid value system, the script issue, and of course take a look at all the genetic factors to plan a strategy not to get into what is called ‘cross addictions’ i.e. Another form of addiction that may appear alright but is in fact as bad as the primary addiction. The center or hospital and the counselor will advise and guide him on several measures and precautions he will need to take to stay with his resolve. Even after the rehabilitation he must attend AA meetings and continue this support for a long time. The family will also need to attend some sessions and go for Al-anon meetings for their co-dependency issues. He cannot be treated in isolation because the family has gotten used to his drinking and have made some unhealthy adaptations to somehow cope. The children, including you and whoever else is there, will also have to attend meetings to work out their issues because of the father’s habit. In fact, they are all suffering from the Adult Children Of Alcoholics Syndrome (ACOAs), which in effect means that you are genetically predisposed to alcoholism or can have cross addiction problems and that you will have similar traits of the abusing alcoholic but in a milder form. There are special support groups for them all over the world. Should they touch or indulge in alcohol or any addictive substances or behaviors, they could also become full-fledged addicts themselves. Now you should not give up on him but neither should you harass him. Be continuously after him and in the end, you will succeed. His medical condition may warrant a very strict course of action.
