Hello. See Physiotherapy is best. Advising not as a Physiotherapist but without getting biased. As, the issue can be taken care by first reducing pain and subsiding other issues. After that we focus on gaining muscle strength. It do takes time but is effective nd safe. Regards!

Hi apart from good food as suggested by the other dr, you should do stretching exercises to strengthen and make joints mobile and rigidity free. Avoid too much of stairs climbing daily. Thanks.

Hi, Lybrate user, Any acute inflammation of vulva, vagina or cervix either due to infection or lack of secretions (dry vagina) can result in pain during deep, penetration. Similarly, deep-seated pain even after completion of coitus can be due to conditions like ovarian cysts, tender retroverted ovaries, ceases on continuations of period, need an expert opinion. Dear lybrate user, a few simple changes and precautions at home can help reduce the pain in your heels.Use an ice pack to reduce swelling, inflammation, and pain. Take an over-the-counter pain reliever. Rest your feet by staying off of them as much as possible for a few days when your heels are aching. Exercise your feet. Some good foot flexing and stretches can help stretch out the plantar fascia, and make it feel better. You can get more information about stretching .Adjust your shoes with inserts that raise the heel and support the arch of your foot. please send feed back.

My legs paining a lot why? I don't understand it's like I have climb a mountain. Un bearable pain. What should I do? my age 63. I dont have sugar, bp, or other problem. I have little beat indigestation, constipation prob. Thats it.

Hi Thanks for your query and Welcome to Lybrate. I am Dr Akshay from Fortis Hospital, New Delhi. Actually pain at calf/Leg region can be due to many reasons , commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to Tendons, Nerves, Blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be : - Ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - Take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - Stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - Intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - Slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - We will get some blood tests for you - Serum Vitamin D and serum Potassium levels, ESR and CRP Once you have all these reports then you can contact me as i can advise you for proper supplementation Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. My mother is 63. She has pain in her right shoulder and is unable to lift or move her hand completely. Dr. Here prescribes pain relievers but they are just temporary relief. Her pain increases even if if she does small task. Kindly advise which specialist should we consult and what could be the reason. She is otherwise quite healthy.

Its due to rotator cup muscle issues so pleas apply the hot pack over the joint 3 times a day if you have local access physio please visit and apply swd, followed by minimal shoulder manipulation and than shoulder exercises.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.
