If that cough is present only for last 3 days you may use some cough syrup preparation and also may try honey and ginger as home remedy.

Had a disc replacement less than a month ago. Now have a sinus/ear infection. Antibiotics don't seem to be working, and the ear pain/discomfort seems to be getting worse. Am I having more trouble with fighting off the infection because of the surgery? Should I be seeking medical attention even though I've got five days left in the course of antibiotics?

MBBS
ENT Specialist, Roorkee
Dear lybrate-user, relax and take steam inhalation twice a day, Ottivin nasal drops thrice a day, Tab. Alerid twice a day, Tab. Combiflam twice a day for 5 days. Enjoy good health.

Hypothyroids reduce your basal metabolic rate. Control hypothyroid and if you are over weight control that. Hypothyoids can gain weight and develop respiratory probs.
