Today, we'll discuss the winter issues, everybody knows winter is a good time and everybody likes to have the warm clothes and it’s a chilled environment is good for the hot snacks also, but we have to take care of your health issues also. As we know winter we are more prone to our respiratory issues, cold, flu as well as our chest breathing trouble for asthma as well as gastritis. So we have to take care of all the consideration just to make the life comfortable and having less of the illness during this winter season. We will discuss one of the things diet precautions just avoiding the cold and child food those who are very prone to sensitive from the allergic point of view as well as the gastritis point of view. And as we know we are prone for dryness of our skin also during the winter season, so the different kind of lotions or moisturisers available to make the skin moisturized and Vitamin C in many forms are available, which is good for the skin as well as for the antioxidant effects. We can take a lot of citrus fruits also and medication for the vitamin C is also available and next way to take care in the winter the hand precaution because we are prone for viral inflammation or infection using the pen of each other, using the computer or what are the articles in the offices. Then we have to make adequate sleep also and just keep you motivated for our mind during the winter season will help to make out of all this the infection and inflammation during the winter season. Unhealthy Lifestyle
Unhealthy Lifestyle

Good Evening, my name is Dr Tarun Jham, I am consultant physician. I have an experience of 15 years I completed my medicine in 2002. Today we will discuss about the unhealthy lifestyle and health issues, as we know health is directly related to our lifestyle. If we are driving our bad lifestyle we are predisposed to the health problems, so we will discuss the few of the common problems which are related to the health and healthy or unhealthy lifestyle. So one of them is not taking the regular exercise schedule, as in the morning or in the evening, then we are prone to obesity, then because of this the joint pains and other health problems of diabetes and blood pressure and same for the cardiac problems, they are also predisposed if we are not taking regular exercise. And another issue of unhealthy lifestyle is our eating habits and that's very important issue, either not taking proper food in timing if you are not taking proper ingredients which are related to our health and if you are not taking proper amount of food, we are to dispose to the unhealthy lifestyle and same for the illness also. Overeating is again not good for health that increases the high-calorie values and overheating and not eating to over thurst or not keeps eating to our appetite then we are prone to the side effects of the ingredients which are not essential for our food also. Again eating from the wrong material or unhealthy sides also makes for our gastric infection as well as our liver infection and we will discuss few of the topics like if you're not taking the regular medical checkup like one of them is not going through the health checkup of basic blood test and vaccination and we are prone for our health issues. Many problems can be detected before the time and we can take a preventive action accordingly and next we will discuss about one of the important issues of our habits of, some people habits of smoking and alcohol. Alcohol is known to cause the oral ulceration, the gastric issues, the vomiting, loss of appetite, liver problems, cirrhosis so it's not just it to have any kind of or any limit of the alcohol to take for any person or any society person. Next we will discuss about the smoking, smoking is again have the injurious to the health in the formant irritate the mouth because it causes the sweating as well as the chest discomfort, breathing trouble and making the concentration of the focus disturb, so they are the very common side effects and serious side effects of the heart attack and stroke attack and the gastric bleeding, they are also associated with some smoking associations. Again we will discuss about the general issues of not feeling good for our health in general or thinking that we are old. So feel you are young and you're more energetic, be positive that is the attitude of life, that's the healthy lifestyle. If you're not going through that, we know and the study also showed that if we think positive there are health issues they remain under control and we can take preventive actions against the menu of our health problems also. Some of the unhealthy lifestyles like sporting exercises are dangerous like horse riding, parachuting, sports car, cars and these are the high-risk zones are there, so we have to make our interest according to our risk factors also. Then overuse of a lot of tablets and pain Killers we are taking without prescription, suppose the use of the continuous painkiller cause the gastric, acidity and kidney problem, so this is also not good for the health. And again repeated lack of exercise sleeping late and engaging in a lot of entertainment that again makes the health issues on a usual basis. So it advisable to have the healthy lifestyle which includes taking lot of fruits, vegetables and balanced diet regular food habit and taking food according to appetite and next is the regular exercise although in the short term but on the regular basis, if you are not taking proper time you can do the exercise on the twice or three times a week also and taking the regular health checkups regular whatever the vaccinations are needed and having the good adequate sleep and just focus on our positive mind because health is to include both the physical as well as the mental health. Thank you for the information and thanks for the Lybrate service for promoting. If you need any my service of the medical services then just contact me through the Lybrate services I will be most happy to help you Thank you.

Dengue Fever
Dengue Fever

My name is Dr Tarun Jhamb and I’m an MD Medince. I am practising for last fifteen years. I am connected to Lybrate. I’m also practising at Columbia Asia Hospital and we will discuss the health topic one of which is Dengue Fever. We know for the next three months, there is a possibility of Dengue Fever in the rainy season. Dengue is a mosquito borne viral fever and it just spreads from the bite of the mosquito and spreads person to person. Most of the times it is self-treatable and it’s a preventable disease but there are a few cases which have gone into complications which are known as Dengue Shock Syndrome or Dengue haemorrhaging Fever.

Common symptoms of the Dengue Fever is the high-grade fever, 104- 105 temperature with body ache, joint pain, muscle pain, rashes all over the body, and severe weakness. A person becomes very dilapidated within one or two days and feels very uncomfortable and he becomes sick. It is a treatable disease. Lots of liquids and electrolytes are required.

What are the dos and don’ts for this disease?

Do is, we have to take care of not getting stagnant water in coolers or in and around the home. We should take care of using the mosquito repellent, material or the jellies. We can use the net to avoid the mosquito bite. We should intake a lot of water and electrolyte supplements. We should take bed rest for few days. We need to see the doctor as soon as we see the symptoms of dengue fever.

Things we don’t have to do, do not use disprin or the voveran tablet during the fever because these are the blood thinners. Do not avoid or delay the treatment. As we see the symptoms like bleeding from anywhere on the sight and black stool, continuous vomiting and severe weakness and continuous fever which leads to fainting.

These are the serious symptoms which should be immediately taken care of and we should seek the help of the doctor. It is a preventable disease. We should take care of the blood testing where we find the dengue test at initial four to five days, likely to be positive and antibody test after four to five days, is likely to be positive. Platelets are falling after four to five days and remain for the next three to four days and then it automatically starts. Some people require hospitalization as well as the platelet transfusion. The upper limit of the platelet is up to ten to fifteen thousand where we can prevent or avoid the platelet transfusion. But if it is going down lower or there is any sign of bleeding up to forty thousand then we have to give the platelet transfusion request.

If you need any of my help, I am available at Lybrate. My home clinic is Naman Medicare at Gurgaon, Sector IV.

Thank you

Be Healthy & Stay Healthy
Be Healthy & Stay Healthy

Here are tips of Healthy Living

Hello friends, my name is Dr. Tarun Jhamb. I am an MD physician practicing for the last 15 years and have a vast experience from Apollo Hospital, Delhi and Columbia Asia Hospital, Gurgaon. Today we will discuss about the best motive of 'Be Healthy and Stay healthy'. That is our motive in life. We will discuss few tips which will give immense knowledge to you.

We will start with our diet schedule. Diet is very important to increase the immunity and boost our immune system and fighting the infections and other general problems. Starting with breakfast, lunch and dinner, the basic timing for all these should be fixed and there should be small amount of food but on regular basis. Diet should be easily penetrable and healthy from all the balanced nutrients point of view. There should be a lot of carbohydrates, proteins, low amount of fats and also lot of fruits and vegetables. Breakfast is very important in the morning. Never skip the breakfast because after over a night of a long fast we are taking the break and getting the food. So it’s good for the health and maintains the nutrition status of our body. The same is for the lunch and dinner. All the timings should be fixed. Next comes the content. All the healthy food contains all the basic components as we have already discussed. So diet is important focus for our health.

Second comes our exercise and jogging schedule. In exercise, we get the toxins out of our body; we get our circulation, muscle strength, energy levels. We are maintaining our strength and stamina. We are acting out our lungs and getting the best of oxygen and taking out the carbon dioxide. So exercise on a regular basis since it’s very good for health. Simple exercise is not very costly like walking but just take care that it should be a safe and infection free platform once we are walking or doing the jogging and exercise. We should take a lot of liquids and juices during our exercise to avoid dehydration.

Next is the sleeping pattern. Our body needs 6 to 8 hours of sleep according to the person’s requirement and we should have the deep sleep so that we get more energy after we are waking up. Throughout the night hours keep a regular timing for the sleep and make your mind to get the proper energy level during sleeping.

Other factors which are good for the health are meditation and yoga therapy. Meditation makes the body healthy and relaxes the muscles. It saves us from a lot of further medical problems. So giving some time for a simple meditation which does not require much of training is also good for the health. Next comes the washing healthy habits where we should take a proper wash of the body. We should have proper cleaning up of the body and proper tooth brush on a daily basis. We should learn how to have the good hand hygienic techniques. That’s very simple and basic and it makes us good from all the sinus problems, skin problems. It detoxifies our body and makes it healthy. We should also have the De-stress lifestyle which is keeping one work at a time. Just briefing all of these, our motto should be to Be healthy and stay healthy.

As we have discussed already, if you feel any difficulty with your lifestyle or other issues, I am available at my clinic at Naman Medicare, Sector-4 Gurgaon near Sector 4 HUDA Market and I am thankful to the Lybrate services for organization of all these issues.

Prevention and Cure During Rainy Season
Prevention and Cure During Rainy Season

Hello, friends, my name is Tarun Jhamb. I am MD physician, consultant and I have an experience of last 15 years for the medical practice and here we discuss today as the topic of care in the rainy seasons.

How to take care of health and personal tips during the rainy season or this is a monsoon season, as we know the monsoon season is good and we have got the different rainy seasons, rainy scenes and everybody likes to have a rain and it’s while covering from the summer so everybody likes this rain. But we know it’s a health issue also during the monsoon season as because of most of the humidity is there and because of the rain and lots of bacteria and infections they flare up in the air, in the dust and everywhere there is the water is kept with a lot of infections and mosquito breeding areas and all this leads to an infectious issues like diarrhea and the stomach issues and all the respiratory issues, upper respiratory tract infections as well as all the issues related to the nose, throat and sinus issues and skin issues. Because of the humidity and all these general issues can be taken care with preventive care which we will discuss and then there are the remedies for it OKAY.

How will we prevent this? When we are wet with the rain, when we are coming from outside we should have a shower and clean the body and make it dry before entering the AC area. And we should have the all light food avoiding all the spicy oily food and we should avoid all the outings in the rain and we should take care of our personal protection, devices whence we are going like umbrellas and the other the rain coats. And health wise we need to take care of avoiding all the outside food from the roadside because there are like Pani Puris and other things which are usually unhygienic. We should take care of all the packed foods and because of the rainy, our stomach gets upset. We can take a lot of citrus fruits which have the Vitamin C component and increases the immunity levels and it boosts our immune system and it’s good for the health. Lemon water and all these citrus fruits are important.

Rest of the general instructions from the respiratory point of view. We should use a handkerchief and proper hand wash technique should be learned and areas which are the full of the dust and pollution and all the roadside areas we should avoid it. And that’s the main purpose of avoiding sinus issues and the respiratory issues and rest of our common cold, fevers and viral fevers are very common like Malaria fever, dengue fever and we should have the clean environment around our surrounding at the home and avoid all the rainy water around our atmosphere. Because that is the breeding point of the vector borne and the mosquito is borne infections. So we should take care of all this infection. Proper health and proper diet and side by side morning evening walk is the must. And we should take proper breakfast, lunch, and dinner and take a lot of healthy foods and green salads is also good for the health.

As we know all these symptoms just to revise it all the cold congestion, upper respiratory tract infections, sinus problems than our stomach issues and the body ache problems. If any of you have the issues due to rainy seasons I am available to contactable with our Lybrate site with Dr. Tarun Jhamb and we got the clinic in the Sector-4 area, Gurgaon. It’s near Sector-4 HUDA market so I am approachable and I would like to have the service for you.
