Hi, as you have not mentioned your weight, height and age it is not possible to tell if you can loose excess weight in a week. You can loose up to 1 kg in a week depending on your current exercise and diet. You have to divide your meals in to small and frequent meals which consist of 6 portions in a day which comprise of break fast, mid morning meal, lunch, evening snack, dinner and a bed time snack. Include whole grain cereals and breads, pulses and legumes, skimmed milk and milk products, fruits and vegetables, lean meat, skin out chicken, fish (fatty). You need to avoid refined flour (maida) products, sugary foods, sweets, bakery foods, junk foods, fried and oily foods, red meat, other sea foods except fish, carbonated and caffeinated beverages, alcohol. Other healthier foods that you can include are oats, sprouts, flax seeds (2 tsp), green tea. If you are following any kind of physical activity continue it at least an hour, if you are about to start exercising you need to start it in a slow pace with 20 minutes of activity and gradually you can increase it up to 1 hour. Consume enough amount of water, use stairs instead of lift and if your working place is near by your home use bicycle or go by walk.

Hi, Intake of foods that are rich in vitamins A, C,E and K are helpful in reducing the melanin production. The foods include Milk, butter, cheese, whole eggs, broccoli, spinach, carrots, pumpkin, can notaloupe, sweet potato, turnips and apricots are rich in vitamin-A. All citrus fruits, guava, amla, pine apple, papaya, black current, strawberries, mango, grape fruit, broccoli, potato, tomato, spinach have sufficient amounts of vitamin-C, but as heating denatures the vitamin you have to consume it in a raw form or semi cooked form. Almonds, spinach, sunflower oil, avocado, sweet potato, wheat germ oil are really good sources of vitamin-E, it doesn't act directly by lowering the melanin but it doesn't allow hyper pigmentation. All dark green leafy vegetables are rich sources of vitamin-k and it reduces the dark spots on a long run. The change of skin tone might not happen suddenly as expected and it may take time based on your skin complexion and type of diet you take.

Hi, there are chances that your height might be increased as you are still in the growth spurt. Include whole grain cereals, legumes and pulses, vegetables, fruits, Whole milk and other dairy products, lean meat, fish, egg to maintain healthy weight. Avoid refined flour, red meat, oily and fat foods, junk food, sugary foods, alcohol, butter, ghee. Stay hydrated all the time. Consider taking olive oil, almonds, dry dates, green tea as they help you relieve your stress and build up strength and immunity. To increase your height you have to include foods that are rich in both calcium and protein like Whole milk, paneer, green leafy vegetables, lean meat, skin out chicken, egg, sprouts, oats, fish, quinoa, bajra, jowar along with stretching exercises that help you to increase your height. Avoid oily and fat foods as they interfere with the absorption of calcium.

I have hard cough and pain in throat and if I started coughing it continue for some time. It has been for nearly 2 week.

Hi, Tea which is made of cinnamon and ginger once a day will alleviate the itching and pain sensation of throat. Warm milk with turmeric or pepper works really well for cough when taken twice a day. Honey along with lemon has good anti-inflammation properties which soothes the throat and its better taken in the morning. Basil/tulsi leaves boiled in water and gargling salt water at least thrice a day also has good effect. Make sure that you avoid cold foods or leftovers from refrigerator which might increase the condition. Inhaling hot air through vaporiser helps you feel better from chest and nasal blockage. Avoid going out in to cold air and exposure to dust which might again increase your cough and cold. Decrease your intake of sugary foods and foods high in oil and fat which might prolong your illness.

Hi, you need to avoid foods that are rich in Tyramine such as fermented products like Yoghurt, cheese, wine, red meat (smoked/grilled/fried), margarine, butter, foods with excess salt, junk food, foods high in sugar, caffeinated beverages, stored sea foods, citrus fruits, over ripened fruits, white breads, nicotine (tobacco), chocolates, foods containing trans-fats. Foods like whole grain cereals/ bread, vegetables and fruits, fish (fresh), green leafy vegetables (iron rich), lean meat, skin out chicken and plenty of fluids (water, fruit and vegetable juices with out sugar) can relieve from vertigo symptoms. Try reaching to floor or wall when the symptoms get severe. Intake of alkaline foods (vegetables and fruits (avoid over ripen fruits)) reduces the symptoms.

Hi, you can make your lipid levels back to normal by following diet and physical activity. You need to include healthy food options such as whole grain cereals, pulses and legumes, fruits and vegetables, skimmed milk and milk products, lean meat, skin out chicken, egg white. Reduce your intake of red meat, egg yolk, fried/ oily foods, junk foods, alcohol and smoking of tobacco. Include fish (trout, sardines, tuna, salmon), almonds (4-5), walnuts (4-5), flax seeds (2 tsp), green tea, oats as they help you to maintain healthy lipid levels. If you don't have any type of physical activity its better to start as it will help you in reducing excess weight if any.

Hi, you can increase your testosterone by increasing your meat intake as availability of protein increases the chances of testosterone formation. Foods that are rich in zinc like sea foods mainly such as oysters, fatty fish, eggs, spinach, almonds. High intensity work outs and reducing weight also triggers testosterone synthesis and make sure that you are getting enough amount of Vitamin-D as testosterone synthesis takes place from it.

Hi, flax seeds do help in weight loss with exercise. 2 teaspoon per 50 kg of body weight can be consumed. So, if you are 75 kg you can take 3 teaspoons. The best time to take flax seeds is in the morning.
