Everyone has different lifestyle and body. There is no fit for all diet chart. You need customized diet plan along with proper workout schedule. Mean while few tips for you are- start eating small frequent meals and don't skip any meals specially breakfast. Include whole grains and use atta with bran take high fibre diet which include lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Drink atleast 10-12 glasses of water. Diwali is around and every one of us is doing our best to impress Goddess Laxmi by decorating our houses, shops offices etc. and distributing gifts and sweets to their loved ones. It’s a festive season and everyone wants to looks best but problem is it’s a festival of sweets also and it is very hard to resist those yummy gulab jamuns and rasmalaies when everyone else is gorging on them. Dilemma for you is eating them without gaining weight.

Few tips to helps you out in such situation-

Don’t skip meals while doing all the work as skipping meals will lead you towards gulping those laddoes and burfies

While preparing sweets at home use natural sweeteners like honey, dates, raisins, fruits etc. instead of sugar.

Drink lots of water to prevent false hunger pangs and to maintain shine on your face.

Keep fruits basket handy so if feel hungry you can pick fruit instead of sweets.

Eat dry roasted nuts and dry fruits in their natural form instead of fried, salted or sugared version

Choose healthy snack like roasted poha chivda or chakli

Eat and serve in smaller plates and go for smaller amount.

Gift nuts to your loved ones instead of sweets and you are doing good for their health as well.

Gifting small packet of nuts is better than bigger pack of sweets (chances of sweet adulteration are very high during festive season)

Going to meet friends eat one fruit on the way and you are automatically not going to eat less snacks.

It’s better to have half cup of tea instead of sugar laden cold drinks and juices.

Do your exercise as much as possible to burn those extra calories which your loved one feed you out of love.

You required balanced diet along with physical activity and proper rest. For vitamin d deficiency you can take vitamin D3 supplement in form of sachet, soft gel or in liquid form once a week with milk. Going to gym won't help if your body don't get proper nourishment.
