As I had consulted so many doctors for high blood pressure but I didn't get any relief as I took many medicines also.

As I had consulted so many doctors for high blood pressure but I didn't get any relief as I took many medicines also.
1st you need to understand hypertension. Blood pressure Keeps fluctuating in everyone depending upon our physical & psychological stress levels.(BP sabh mein upar neeche hote rehta hai. Stress mein jyada aur rest mein Kam hota hai ). Normal range of blood pressure is between 90/60 to 140/90 & blood pressure keeps fluctuating in every one. In stress it rises & while resting it decreases. If it is constantly higher then 130/80 & does not decrease by resting it's then called hypertension. You need to take a digital BP machine & keep a BP record (Digital BP machine le lo.(see my video on how to use it properly. Aur khud ka BP check karo. .check it daily for at least one week & Every time you need to measure BP twice or thrice with a gap of 15 mins rest & note down the lowest reading. We need to know how low your blood pressure can go by just resting. If your blood pressure does not become normal by resting then you will need for the revaluation and medication. (Har 15 -15 min k Baad. Aur note karo BP aaram karne se kamm hota hai ya nhi. Ager aaram karne se BP normal ho jata hai to apko BP ki bimari nhi hai. Sirf stress hai. Aur.jinka BP continuously lagatar high rehta hai unko dawa chalu karne ya badhane aur tests ki jaroorat Hoti hai.) You need to first understand few things about blood pressure. Many factors can affect blood pressure, including: 1) The amount of water and salt you have in your body 2) 2) The condition of your kidneys, nervous system, or blood vessels 3) 3) Your hormone levels 4) 4) your lifestyle - smoking, drinking, exercise 5) Stress, less sleep, smoking, alcohol, overweight, heart, kidney problems, lack of physical exercise. All of these can cause High blood pressure. 6) You are more likely to be told your blood pressure is too high as you get older. This is because your blood vessels become stiffer as you age. When that happens, your blood pressure goes up. 7) Highblood pressure increases your chance of having a stroke, heart attack, heart failure, kidney disease, or early death. So my advice to you would be 1) Basic tests should be one to rule out cardiac / kidney issues & find if there is any treatable cause of High blood pressure 2) unless any recent evaluation has been done I would advice these test ECG ECHO Lipid Profile TSH KFT Renal doppler Fundoscopy Vit D Vit B12 Get back to me with a detailed history and old / new records For Now Keep taking the same medicines which you are taking (if you are taking ).plus Start lifestyle changes & diet changes Emphasizes vegetables, fruits, and fat-free or low-fat dairy products. Includes whole grains, fish, poultry, beans, seeds, nuts, and vegetable oils. Limits sodium, sweets, sugary beverages, and red meats. Along with this, other lifestyle changes can help lower your blood pressure. They include staying at a healthy weight, exercising, and not smoking.

My baby is 50 days old. She is doing potty 10-15 times with water. Dr. Has prescribed RACIGYL-SB but there was no benefit .Please suggest any other medicine or idea.

Normally babies can poop a lot for the first few months. And more than 90% cases do not require medicines. You need to make sure that your baby is not dehydrated, by giving him frequent breastfeeds. Look for signs of irritability, low urine output (normally babies pass urine at least 8-10 times per day), skin elasticity. If all is good and baby is active, feeding well, then your baby does not any medicine.

Both PCECV and PVRV are approved by WHO along with few other types like HDCV and PDEV. All are equally effective and can be interchangeably used in case of Nonavaibikity or allergy to other.

Doctor, thank you so much for your response. I am regularly monitoring my BP (I have BP machine) and at rest it comes down to 120/75 sometimes even lower. I do annual health check ups and the tests are all fine except for borderline cholesterol. I don't smoke and drink wine once a week. My food intake is minimal, once a week non veg, otherwise vegs, rice, roti, lentils. I have history of heart attack, my mother died due to cardiac arrest and my grandmother too. Maybe thrice or four times a year I get this kind of high BP. I am extremely active and working. Do I need to be cautious because of my history.

Yes of course Live a Healthy Lifestyle Eat a healthy diet. Choosing healthful meal and snack options can help you avoid heart disease and its complications. Be sure to eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Eating foods low in saturated fat and cholesterol and high in fiber can help prevent high blood cholesterol. Limiting salt or sodium in your diet can also lower your blood pressure. Maintain a healthy weight. Being overweight or obese can increase your risk for heart disease. To determine whether your weight is in a healthy range, doctors often calculate a number called the body mass index (BMI).  Exercise regularly. Physical activity can help you maintain a healthy weight and lower cholesterol and blood pressure. Don't smoke. Cigarette smoking greatly increases your risk for heart disease. So, if you don't smoke, don't start. If you do smoke, quitting will lower your risk for heart disease. Your doctor can suggest ways to help you quit. Limit alcohol use. Avoid drinking too much alcohol, which causes high blood pressure.  If you have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or diabetes, there are steps you can take to lower your risk for heart disease. Have your cholesterol checked. Your health care provider should test your cholesterol levels at least once every five years. Talk with your doctor about this simple blood test. Monitor your blood pressure. High blood pressure has no symptoms, so be sure to have it checked on a regular basis. Manage your diabetes. If you have diabetes, closely monitor your blood sugar levels. Talk with your health care provider about treatment options. Take your medicine. If you're taking medication to treat high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or diabetes, follow your doctor's instructions carefully. Always ask questions if you don't understand something. You've probably heard that high blood pressure is a problem. Sometimes blood pressure that is too low can also cause problems. Blood pressure is the force of your blood pushing against the walls of your arteries. Each time your heart beats, it pumps out blood into the arteries. Your blood pressure is highest when your heart beats, pumping the blood. This is called systolic pressure. When your heart is at rest, between beats, your blood pressure falls. This is the diastolic pressure. Your blood pressure reading uses these two numbers. Usually they're written one above or before the other, such as 120/80. If your blood pressure reading is 90/60 or lower, you have low blood pressure. Some people have low blood pressure all the time. They have no symptoms and their low readings are normal for them. In other people, blood pressure drops below normal because of a medical condition or certain medicines. Some people may have symptoms of low blood pressure when standing up too quickly. Low blood pressure is a problem only if it causes dizziness, fainting or in extreme cases, shock. Certain medicines and substances can lead to low blood pressure, including:     * Alcohol     * Anti-anxiety medicines     * Certain antidepressants     * Diuretics     * Heart medicines, including those used to treat high blood pressure and coronary heart disease     * Medicines used for surgery     * Painkillers Other causes of low blood pressure include:     * Nerve damage from diabetes     * Changes in heart rhythm (arrhythmias)     * Not drinking enough fluids (dehydration)     * Heart failure You can do a few things to prevent low blood pressure     * Drinking more fluids     * Getting up slowly after sitting or lying down     * Not drinking alcohol     * Not standing for a long time     * Using compression stockings so blood does not collect in the legs Get these test done to find cause of blood pressure problems tests include Thyroid functions, ECG, ECHO. What you are having is Gastroesophageal reflux disease Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a condition in which the stomach contents leak backwards from the stomach into the esophagus (the tube from the mouth to the stomach). This can irritate the esophagus and cause heartburn and other symptoms. Causes When you eat, food passes from the throat to the stomach through the esophagus. A ring of muscle fibers in the lower esophagus prevents swallowed food from moving back up. These muscle fibers are called the lower esophageal sphincter (LES). When this ring of muscle does not close all the way, stomach contents can leak back into the esophagus. This is called reflux or gastroesophageal reflux. Reflux may cause symptoms. Harsh stomach acids can also damage the lining of the esophagus. The risk factors for reflux include: Use of alcohol (possibly) Hiatal hernia (a condition in which part of the stomach moves above the diaphragm, which is the muscle that separates the chest and abdominal cavities) Obesity Pregnancy Scleroderma Smoking Symptoms can also be caused by certain medicines Common symptoms of GERD include: Feeling that food is stuck behind the breastbone Heartburn or a burning pain in the chest Nausea after eating Less common symptoms are: Bringing food back up (regurgitation) Cough or wheezing Difficulty swallowing Hiccups Hoarseness or change in voice Sore throat Symptoms may get worse when you bend over or lie down, or after you eat. Symptoms may also be worse at night. If you are overweight or obese, in many cases, losing weight can help. Avoid drugs such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or naproxen. Take acetaminophen to relieve pain. Take all of your medicines with plenty of water. When your doctor gives you a new medicine, ask whether it will make your heartburn worse. You may use over-the-counter antacids after meals and at bedtime, although the relief may not last very long. Common side effects of antacids include diarrhea or constipation. Other over-the-counter and prescription drugs can treat GERD. They work more slowly than antacids, but give you longer relief. Your pharmacist, doctor, or nurse can tell you how to take these drugs. Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) decrease the amount of acid produced in your stomach H2 blockers also lower the amount of acid released in the stomach Anti-reflux surgery may be an option for people whose symptoms do not go away with lifestyle changes and medicines. Heartburn and other symptoms should improve after surgery. But you may still need to take drugs for your heartburn.

Not getting proper sleep. I think he is going through hypertension also.(may be in depression) I have gone through MRi of brain also and doctor said brain is getting weak. Can I share report. In that mri report written diffusion prominence of Cerebral sulci, ventricles,basal cisterns, sylivan fissures, And their is mild cerebellar volume loss inappropriate to patients age.

My mother is 82 years old and is suffering from supra ventricular tachycardia. She is taking 1 tab calaptin 120 mg SR and 1 tab calaptin 40 mg daily. She is also a patient of COPD. She takes two inhaler (Tiova and Formoflo 250 2 puffs twice daily). Recently she is always feeling nauseated along with regurgitation. When she vomits bile like liquids comes out without any food particles. Appetite is not there and feeling weak. Please suggest something to get rid of this problem.

Palpitations or increased heart beat are feelings or sensations that your heart is pounding or racing. They can be felt in your chest, throat, or neck. You may Have an unpleasant awareness of your own heartbeat or may Feel like your heart skipped or stopped beats The heart's rhythm may be normal or abnormal when you have palpitations. Normally the heart beats 60 to 100 times per minute. The rate may drop below 60 beats per minute in people who exercise routinely or take medicines that slow the heart. If your heart rate is fast (over 100 beats per minute), this is called tachycardia. A heart rate slower than 60 is called bradycardia. An occasional extra heartbeat is known as extrasystole. Sinus tachycardia is a normal increase in the heart rate. How it happens - The sinoatrial (SA) node - the heart's natural pacemaker - sends out electrical signals faster than usual. The heart rate is fast, but the heart beats properly. Causes of sinus tachycardia - A rapid heartbeat may be your body's response to common conditions such as: Fever Anxiety Some medicinal and street drugs Severe emotional distress Fright Strenuous exercise Other causes but less commonly, it may indicate: Anemia (low blood count) Increased thyroid activity Heart muscle damage from heart attack or heart failure Hemorrhage (severe bleeding) You may be having Palpitations, which are feelings or sensations that your heart is pounding or racing. They can be felt in your chest, throat, or neck. You may Have an unpleasant awareness of your own heartbeat or may Feel like your heart skipped or stopped beats The heart's rhythm may be normal or abnormal when you have palpitations. Palpitations are not serious most of the time. Sensations representing an abnormal heart rhythm (arrhythmia) may be more serious. Your doctor should consider and treat the cause of sinus tachycardia rather than the condition itself. If your rapid heartbeat is a symptom of a more serious or longer term problem, simply slowing the heart rate without checking for underlying reasons could cause more harm because you are leave the underlying condition untreated. You need to get yourself checked what you may be having is intermittent tachycardia / arrhythmia which means that intermittently your heart rate increases or the heart Rhythm changes which can be dangerous if it does not get corrected on its own. Or it can be an early sign of impending heart disease. But to diagnose it you need to get an ECG done while you are having the rhythm problem or you can get holter monitoring for 24 hours during which if you have this episode it will get registered and documented. Also you need to get a complete lipid profile done as well as a echocardiogram and blood sugar and thyroid levels to look for risk factors. Once you have done that Get back to me with the reports for a detailed consultation.
