Bach Flower Remedies

MD - Homeopathy, Masters Degree of Homoeopathy

Bach Flower Remedies

We all realize that a person's well-being is a mix of physical and emotional health. It is never possible that a person suffering from major anxiety, depression, attention disorder, sleep disorders, stress, or mental trauma can have a perfectly normal physical health.  The Bach Flower remedies are one of the well-proven methods of healing one's emotional imbalances, helping mankind achieve happiness and joy.

Dr. Edward Bach discovered the benefits that flowering trees and plants can have on healing one's emotional problems.  These became extremely popular in the 1930s and help a person to positively deal with negative emotions and behavior patterns. The overall result is an improved well-being, both emotionally and physically, leading to overall happiness.

How it works: Dr. Bach discovered 38 flowers, each of them contributing in some way to the emotional well-being of a person. Each flower improves emotional negativity in some way. These 38 include some of the common ones like pine, mustard, oak, and walnut to rare ones like larch, rock rose, etc. Each flower is associated with an emotion. For instance, pine is associated with guilt, mustard with deep gloom for no reason, elm with overwhelmed feeling due to loaded responsibilities, etc.

Bach flower remedies or BFRs as they are called, are solutions containing brandy and water.  Dr. Bach believed that dew found on the flower petals had preserved the healing properties of the plant and can be used to heal.  While the water contains extreme dilutions of this dew material, the brandy acts as a preservative.

There is a Bach questionnaire that needs to be answered.  This will help identify the right flower remedies needed for a particular person.  In a vast majority of cases, it would be a combination of 6 to 7 remedies that are combined to make a personalized combination.  Over a period of time, the negative emotions will be replaced with positive ones.  The safety and popularity of this remedy is so wide that children, elderly people, pregnant women, and even pets and plants have benefited from this.

How do you make your customized therapy?

Take an empty 30 ml bottle that has a dropper in the lid, which you can get at the local pharmacy store. To this, add two drops of each selected remedy. Alternately, you could also use 4 drops of the formula that is available pre-mixed, which works in most cases.  To this bottle with drops of the flower remedies, add plain, mineral water.  Take 4 drops of this at least 4 times every day.

This is an extremely popular and well-proven method of healing, with the Bach foundation continuing to propagate the teachings and remedy of Dr. Bach.

I am 19 and i'm studying. I am in a love relation last year and that existed only 6 months. The girl said that she cannot accept me as her lover. She said that i am only a friend to her. But till now i am not able to forget the girl I loved. Please help. Me. What should I do?

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
If you had broken up and you are still thinking about her, it only means that you loved this girl very much. Since she was the one to break up with her, you must accept this wish of hers and move on. The clock cannot be turned back again, I suppose. You might have probably entered into a symbiosis and her leaving has become too difficult. That itself might be the reason for the breakup. Girls want a relationship where independence is respected and there is no clingy behavior. You have got to look into this aspect of your personality. Are you becoming too dependent on the girl and therefore demanding? This is not a welcome feature for a girl to want to maintain this relationship. You must develop yourself to become independent and responsible. Maintain respectful distance. There are three important developments in an individual that creates an autonomous personality: intimacy, awareness, and spontaneity. Of these, awareness is of great importance: it will help you know yourself internally and to also make you conscious of other people around you. Such a person is able to meet his needs and that of the other in a balanced manner. You must learn to do this soon. You are still young and have a lot to learn. In fact when you are in a college, you will meet many girls and will interact with them. If you resolve the symbiosis, you will do really well. Meet with a counselor and describe your longings, needs and wants, openly. Take your parents along and let them describe your entire life till now and the counselor will get an understanding of your plight. Remove everything that is a reminder of this girl and start working on your development. Demonstrate how you will look after yourself and work on doing that. Learn independence skills and do a personality development course too.

Hello lybrate-user, this doesn't sound like an anxiety disorder but a normal bodily reaction to the situations that any person feels. Although, if this feeling of anxiety is continuing in other situations as well, and there is intense nervousness or panic, I would recommend that you speak to a professional as soon as possible as it can be detrimental in the long run.

Dear, Tobacco is addictive. Cigarette also contains 4000+ carcinogenic chemicals other than nicotine. Even a single cigarette is harmful to your body. The best method is to leave it and continue with your will power. There are other methods like Nicotine Replacement therapy and pharmacotherapy combined. If you?re ready to stop smoking and willing to get the support you need, you can recover from nicotine addiction and abuse abuse?no matter how bad the addiction or how powerless you feel. The first step in treating nicotine addiction is accepting that you have a problem. Confronting an addiction and accepting responsibility for your actions isn?t easy. But it?s a necessary step on the road to treatment and recovery. You should then consult a psychiatrist / psychologist who fill follow this treatment. 1. Detoxification using medicines. 2. Behavior modification with the help of therapies. 3. Counseling. 4. Medication to sustain and 5. Long term support. These given steps are essential for any addict to get effectively rid of smoking. Therefore, you need to stick to the treatment plan and cooperate with your psychiatrist / psychologist. Take care.

Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. Memory and mind power depends on three aspects. Understanding, retention and recollection. Recollection is easy if your retention is proper and flawless. Retention is possible when you are able understand what you read or learn. To understand you should have concentration. Concentration comes from effective learning techniques based on creative and active learning. Physical exercise, outdoor games, entertainment, socializing coupled with systematic learning improves your memory and mind power. Vegetables, fruits and nuts are perfect for memory. Brain games like sudoku and jigsaw puzzles helps too. Avocados, Beetroots, Blueberries, Broccoli. Celery, Coconut Oil, Dark Chocolate etc are good for improving concentration and memory. I suggest online education counseling. Take care.

Just think of losing your family (a caring, good husband and loving children), think of losing your dignity in the society and among your family members, just for your illegitimate relationship. If you feel that it does'n matter much then there is no problem.

10 Study Tips to Improve Your Learning Study Tip 1: Underlining Underlining is one of the simplest and best known study tips. It’s easy to highlight the most significant parts of what you’re reading. One key sentence per paragraph and a few important phrases here and there. You can only retain a certain amount so it’s best to retain the most important information. Study Tip 2: Make your own note and taking notes is one of the most widespread study skills out there. Essentially the aim of note-taking is to summarise lectures or articles in your own words so you can easily remember the ideas. Study Tip 3: Mind mapping A good Mind map can save you many hours of study and further consolidate your knowledge for your exams. Mind Maps are an extremely versatile tools. They can be used for brainstorming, outlining essays or study topics and for general exam preparation, ExamTime offers the ability to create Mind Maps quickly and easily which makes them the ideal tool when it comes to exams. Study Tip 4: Flash cards:- Using these are a particularly effective method of learning when trying to assimilate different facts, dates, formulas or vocabulary. Subjects such as History, Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Geography or any language are made much easier if you incorporate Flashcards in to your study. Study Tip 5: Case Studies Sometimes it can be difficult to grasp the implications of some theories. This is where studying case studies can be a big help. Case studies can help you visualise a theory and place it in a more familiar and realistic context. This is especially useful in business or law subjects. Study Tip 6: Quizzes are an excellent way to review study notes in the weeks and days before an exam. Quizzes can show where your strengths and weaknesses are, so it allows you to focus your efforts more precisely. Moreover, if you share your Study Quiz with your classmates and test each other as much as possible you can discover even more details and areas you may have overlooked. So before any exam, make sure you create and share a bunch of different Quizzes with your Friends. Study Tip 7: Brainstorming This is another study technique that is ideal for studying with friends and/or classmates. Brainstorming is a great way to expand every possible idea out of any topic. Just get a bunch of friends together and shoot the breeze, there are no wrong answers when brainstorming – just talk and capture the ideas, you can review afterward. Study Tip 8: Mnemonic Rules Mnemonics are especially useful when memorising lists and sets. Mnemonics rules basically work by associating certain concepts with other concepts that are more familiar to us. There are many different ways to make mnemonics and these can be individual to the person. Study Tip 9: ORGANISE your study One of the most effective study skills is also one of the most often overlooked; this is organising your study. Creating a TIME TABLE gives you goals and a time in which to achieve them. Having a study timetable as you study is greatly motivational Study Tip 10: Drawing Many people find it easier to recall images rather than text that is why they are better able to memorise concepts if they associate them with pictures or drawings. Dear Ap, Clinical depression or depressive disorder is a neurochemical disorder. Clinical depression is usually treated with a combination of psychiatric medicines, psychotherapy, life style changes, meditation and exercise. I hope you are undergoing psychiatric treatment, otherwise, please approach a psychiatrist. Once you make the necessary amendments in your life with the help of the above said therapies and life style changes, learn how to manage the depressive episodes without medicines and learn to relax, the medicines can be weaned off over a period of one year. Please consult a psychologist online or in person for advise, counseling and therapy. Take care.

Because mind not working only seeing love.
Take your mind off love by getting engaged in other things which you like. This is just one part of life do not make it your whole life. Do exercise, get some hobby, go out with friends. Prioritize what you want and work towards that. Avoid any emotional triggers and remind yourself if this will matter to you 1 year down the line.

Dear lybrate user, welcome to lybrate. Every person across the world will be in trouble if they started thinking about what you are thinking now. That is because there are no answers to these questions. The duty of your mind is to think. You cannot control your mind's thinking. Once you just leave your mind without diversion, it always end up in negative territory. But certainly you can divert your thinking. You can make your mind to be always positive by engaging in creative activities, hobbies, games and passionate towards whatever you do. Thereby you can reduce your stress and tension also. Once you can do this, loss of proper sleep and stress also can be made normal. Take care.
