Tendon injury mostly occurs in the heel and the elbow joints. Usually, these injuries happen when the tendon has gone through a number of years, although it can also happen all of a sudden. The two types of tendon injuries are: Tendonitis, where the tendon has gone through a number of small tears as a result of overuse; and Tendinitis, where the tendons undergo inflammation. Those who perform repetitive actions due to work or recreation using the same joints are most likely to suffer from tendon injury.
HOW IS TENDON INJURY DIAGNOSED?
In many cases, tendon injuries cause pain and stiffness at night.
