About Wikoryl 2 Mg/500 Mg/5 Mg Tablet

Wikoryl 2 Mg/500 Mg/5 Mg Tablet is most commonly used for common cold, nasal decongestant, headache, itchy skin or throat, joint pain, ear pain and other similar conditions. The medicine is a multi-drug composition consists of chloropheniramine, paracetamol and phenylephrine.

All of these are active ingredients that blocks the flow of histamine, work as a NSAID, and Alpha adrenergic agoinst in your body, respectively. Wikoryl Tablet improves the pain threshold and blood flow thus helping in constricting the blood vessels and decongesting the blocked nose.

Wikoryl Tablet is advisable that you do not consume this medicine if you have taken any of the medications that include sodium oxybate, furazolidone or a monamine oxidase inhibitor within the last fortnight. Furthermore, you must tell your doctor if you have allergies related to it or suffer from diseases related to blood pressure, heart, thyroid, kidney or liver.

Wikoryl can cause any of the side effects like restlessness, blurred vision, urination problems, memory and coordination problems, dry mouth and so on. Therefore, it is advised that you do not take the medicine for not more than a week. You must only consume it until the symptoms start wearing down.

And lastly, Paracetamol is a pain relief medication that is administered both orally and intravenously. It selectively inhibits enzyme function in the brain which allows it to treat pain and fever. It activates certain receptors in the brain that inhibit pain signals.
