About Saridon Tablet

Saridon Tablet is mainly used to treat headaches. It also helps in the treatment of mild fever. It acts as a mild painkiller in many conditions and can help reduce the pain in many conditions.

It provides relief in pain within 30 minutes after its consumption, due to medicine unique triple drug combination. The major ingredients of the tablet include paracetamol, caffeine and propyphenazone.

The drug together activates the adenosine receptors, increasing the pain threshold and increases the blood flow in your body. This makes your body warm, resulting in heat loss and sweating thus alleviating the pain you feel.

It activates the central nervous system of your body providing quick results. Since it is a mild painkiller, there are no serious side effects related to it. In some rare cases, one can experience side effects like skin rashes, nausea, stomach pain or loss of appetite.

The symptoms of serious side effects include dark urine, clay-coloured stools or jaundice. You must stop the intake of medicine in such cases and consult a doctor if the side effects persist for a long time. People with a problem of alcoholism or serious liver conditions, you must not consume medicine as it can cause some serious side effects.

US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has declared medicine as a pregnancy category C drug which indicates that animal studies show various side effects on the foetus, but there are no teratogenic studies of this medicine in pregnant women.

        It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs) which is mainly used to avoid cephalalgia, headache, cold, fever, catarrh, and ear pain. Human and Experimental Toxicology studies have been performed on pregnant Wistar rats on gestation days 8-14 and have shown an increased risk of skeletal malformations, and intrauterine growth retardation due to saridon tablet.

        Ans : It should not be consumed for long period of time as the constituents of the medication have severe side effects. Saridon can cause liver impairment and migraine headaches because of acetaminophen present in it. Therefore taking excessive medicine is bad for health.
