About Parkin 2 MG Tablet

Parkin 2 MG Tablet is known to be an anticholinergic, thus it effectively relaxes some muscles of the body by stalling nerve impulses. The drug is used in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and other conditions with similar symptoms and also for the treatment of drug-induced extrapyramidal effects.

Doctor’s generally do not recommend this medicine to patients who may be allergic to components present in it or patients who have problems like angle closure glaucoma, bowel and stomach issues, heart issues, an esophagus that has narrowed or blockage of the urinary tract.

Certain medical conditions can reduce the effectiveness of the drug or create complications with the treatment. Thus before you start taking Parkin 2 MG Tablet provide your doctor a detailed medical history, and ensure that it includes the health issues you currently have and related medicines you are taking.

Pregnant women or women who are planning to have a baby should also inform their doctor before taking this drug. The same applies for breast feeding women. It is best that you tell your medical practitioner about any kidney or liver problems you suffer from as well.

Parkin 2 MG Tablet should be taken orally, either before a meal or after. If you mouth becomes extremely dry after you take the tablet, it is recommended that you take your dose before food. Although patients who suffer from nausea are generally advised to take the drug after food.

Like all medicines, even Parkin 2 MG Tablet results in some side effects. You may suffer from some minor side effects like constipation, blurry vision, dryness of the mouth, feeling sleepy, increased sensitivity to light and headache.

Although major side effects are very rare, immediate medical aid should be sought if they do occur. For instance get in touch with your doctor if you experience chest pain, problems with swallowing food, problems while urinating or develop fever accompanied with chills.

Take exactly as directed; with meals if GI upset occurs, before meals if dry mouth occurs, after eating if drooling or if nausea occurs. Take at the same time each day. Maintain adequate hydration (2-3 L/day of fluids unless instructed to restrict fluid intake); void before taking medication.

Do not use alcohol and all prescription or OTC sedatives or CNS depressants without consulting prescriber. You may experience drowsiness, confusion, or vision changes (use caution when driving, climbing stairs, or engaging in tasks requiring alertness until response to drug is known).
