About Optihist Eye Drop

Optihist Eye Drop is a medication which takes 1 or 2 days before you see an improvement in your health conditions. This medication is an antifungal medication. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane. Take it in the portion and duration as recommended by your specialist. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

This medication is a combination of four medicines: Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Naphazoline, Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate, and Boric Acid. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes. Naphazoline is a decongestant which narrows the blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling). Zinc sulfate monohydrate and boric acid are antiseptics which treat bacterial infection in the eyes and relieve irritation.
