This medication is a selective estrogen receptor modulator, also known as SERM. It is primarily used as a contraceptive and also treats uterine bleeding by exerting a contraceptive effect to normalize the bleeding. The dosage should be taken as prescribed by the doctor.

The drug should not be taken if you have problems such as polycystic ovarian disease, cervical hyperplasia, recent history of jaundice or hepatic impairment, severe allergic states and renal impairment. Women who are pregnant should not consume this tablet.
