About Necob Plus Injection

Necob Plus Injection or in general term Vitamin B-12. This medication is used by people of all ages suffering from a gut disease where they are unable to completely absorb and use the vitamin or this medication and may be at risk of vitamin B-12 deficiency.

It is one of the most important nutrients required in the human body. A lack of this vitamin can cause severe and permanent neurological damage. The medicine also treats Pernicious anaemia with weakness, numbness, tingling of fingers, etc.

It plays a key role in the functioning of the Brain and Nervous system and the formation of the Red Blood Cells. Also, it is responsible for the protection and regeneration of Neurons. This medicine also fights against the degenerative cell condition called Multiple sclerosis. It acts as a stress reliever for the body and mind.

There exists evidence that people, particularly elderly whose serum cobalamin concentrations <300 pg/mL, should receive replacement parenteral therapy; this recommendation is based upon neuropsychiatric disorders and cardiovascular disorders associated with lower sodium cobalamin concentrations.

Vitamin B12 deficiency for >3 months results in irreversible degenerative CNS lesions; treatment of vitamin B12 megaloblastic anemia may result in severe hypokalemia, sometimes, fatal, when anemia corrects due to cellular potassium requirements.

B12 deficiency masks signs of polycythemia vera; vegetarian diets may result in B12 deficiency; pernicious anemia occurs more often in gastric carcinoma than in general population.
