About Mitomycin C 2Mg Injection

Mitomycin C 2Mg Injection is used in the treatment of stomach cancer and cancer of the pancreas, along with other drugs. The drug is essentially an anti-biotic, which blocks the growth of the cancer cells, and prevents the spread of the tumour.

Doctor’s generally do not recommend Mitomycin C 2Mg Injection to patients who are allergic to it, or those who have a low level of platelets in the blood. Patients with severe bleeding issues and leukopenia are also not advised to take Mitomycin C 2Mg Injection. If you have shingle or even chicken pox, the drug will not be prescribed to you.

The drug is given in the form of an injection by a nurse or a doctor. If you are taking the drug on your own, learn how to inject it from your doctor before you try. Avoid contact with skin, because Mitomycin C 2Mg Injection can lead to a terrible reaction. If this does happen. Wash the affected area with plenty of water as well as soap for a minimum of about 15 minutes. Seek medical help thereafter.
