About Macbery Junior Expectorant

Macbery expectorant is a drug primarily used to cure respiratory diseases. It clears the respiratory tract and breaks up the phlegm. This medication aids in the release of surfactant which in turn prevents the mucus from sticking to the bronchial wall. It also shields one from various irritating agents and infections. Ambroxol is an active ingredient in cough syrups which facilitates easy breathing in case of clogging up of the nasal cavity.

This drug is also used to treat different forms of inflammatory pulmonary conditions, bronchitis, bronchospasm asthma and pneumoconiosis. In case of acute bronchitis, this medication should be paired with necessary antibiotics.
