Eofil Forte 250 Mg/4 Mg Tablet

This tablet works via a dual mechnism and used for the treatment of parasitic infection. It treats bancroft's filariasis, eosinophilic lung, loiasis and river blindness. It has a few side effects like fever, itching, painful and tender glands in the neck, nausea and vomiting, groin, skin rash, swelling of the face, dizziness, especially the eyes, joint pain, headache and unusual tiredness or weakness.

This medicine is said to not cause much harm to children as it may to adults. You should inform your doctor if you are allergic to any medicine, product, food substance or to any ingredients present in the tablet. This tablet is a combination of two and includes two medicine Diethylcarbamazine and Chlorpheniramine Maleate which is used for the treatment of parasitic infection. Diethylcarbamazine works as an antiparasitic thus decreases the muscular activity and paralysis causing parasites. Chlorpheniramine works as an antiallergic and decreases the eosinophil count which is raised and also controls cough and breathlessness.
