About Colispas 10 mg/250 mg Tablet

It is an antispasmodic, primarily used to treat muscle cramps caused during menstruation in women. Patients who suffer from colicky pain due to intestinal, biliary, ureteric colic and women having extreme menstrual pain can consume this tablet. Apart from this, it is also helpful in managing pain associated due to any jerk or movement in the intestine, gall duct, and urinary tract.

This tablet relieves pain caused in women during the menstrual cycle by relaxing the muscles of the stomach, thus reducing the symptoms of stomach cramping. This medicine is a composition of two medicine, Dicyclomine and Mefenamic Acid that helps by inhibiting sudden muscle contractions, to provide relief from cramps, pain, bloating and discomfort during menstruation.

    How does this medication work?

    This tablet is a drug that treats smooth muscle spasms in the gastrointestinal tract which occurs due to irritable bowel syndrome. It also controls excessive secretion from, not only stomach but also from bronchial, tracheal and pharyngeal muscles.
