About Colinol 20 Mg/500 Mg Tablet

This is a combination medication which has Dicyclomine and Paracetamol as active ingredients. An antispasmodic, this medication is used for the treatment of pain caused due to intestinal and stomach cramping, muscle cramps, headache, arthritis, dysmenorrhea. It works by slowing down the natural movements of the gut and by relaxing the stomach and intestine muscles.

This medication can cause a range of anticholinergic side effects such as dizziness, dry eyes, and abdominal bloating. At higher doses serious effects like

  • Decreased sweating
  • Flushed skin
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Slurred speech
  • Loss of coordination
  • Mood changes
  • Difficulty urinating
  • Decreased sexual ability

The medication is to be taken by mouth, with or without food as instructed by your doctor, usually 4 times a day.
