About Alminth 200 MG Syrup

Alminth syrup is an antiparasitic medication which helps in treating diseases caused by an infestation of parasitic worms. This medication is generally used to cure diseases like neurocysticercosis, which is known to affect the brain, muscles and other tissues. It also treats conditions such as giardiasis (intestinal infection), hydatid disease, pinworm disease intestinal infection, ascariasis (gastrointestinal infection), filariasis (affecting the lymph nodes and vessels) and others.

This syrup falls under the group of drugs known as anthelmintics, which expels the parasitic worms either by stunning them or killing them without causing notable damage to the patient’s body. This medication could be taken orally and dosage of this medication depends upon the clinical condition, prescribed by the doctor. This medication cures infections caused by tapeworms like hydatid disease (parasitic infestation) and neurocysticercosis (infection affecting the brain, muscles as well as well as other tissues).

This syrup can be taken with water or you can chew it or swallow it. You can take it with food. In case, if you are suffering from any of the following health conditions, you must visit a doctor before starting this medication.
