About Aceten 12.5Mg Tablet

Aceten 12.5Mg Tablet is used for the control, treatment and prevention of conditions such as heart failure, high blood pressure, kidney disease related to type 1 diabetes, heart attack, congestive heart failure, and scleroderma crisis. Aceten 12.5Mg Tablet works by preventing the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, thus inhibiting production of the angiotensin converting enzyme.

Do not use Aceten 12.5Mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of the ingredients present in it. Before using Aceten 12.5Mg Tablet tell your doctor if you are using any prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs, or other herbal and dietary pills and supplements, if you are pregnant and/or breastfeeding, if you suffer from bilateral renal artery stenosis, or if you have any upcoming surgeries. Also let your doctor know your history of medical problems, pre-existing diseases and current health conditions.

Aceten 12.5Mg Tablet is available as a tablet to be taken orally, with or without food, as instructed by the doctor. Dosage depends on conditions such as medical condition, diet, age, and counteraction with other medicines.

Aceten 12.5Mg Tablet has side effects such as anemia, jaundice, hypotension, glossitis, pancreatitis, and dyspepsia. If you experience side effects other than the ones listed above, you need to contact your doctor for immediate medical assistance.

    How does this medication work?

    Aceten 12.5Mg Tablet is a competitive inhibitor. The angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) and is used to treat hypertension. By inhibiting ACE, it decreases the levels of angiotensin II, increases plasma renin activity and decreases aldosterone production. This controls the blood pressure of the body.
