Dear doctors, my wife delivered a sweet "full term" baby girl on 2nd April 2017. She weighed 2850 gms at birth. I wish to know below queries, request you to please post your valuable comments- 1. The doctor has suggested my wife to consume Orofer xt for 3 months and Shelcal HD for eight months. Is it really required? She took these pills throughout her pregnancy as well. 2. My baby passes lot of gases. This is not an issue for us but she cries a lot when she pass gas else she plays and smiles a lot. What can we do to avoid gases of baby? 3. Breast feeding is done properly and baby also drinks mother's milk properly, what should mother focus on consuming more and till how many days? Any comments mentioned serially are highly appreciated, thank you in advance.

My grand daughter age 4 years after coming from school at 1300 hours and after lunch goes to sleep and doesn't wake up. Inspite of our all efforts she doesn't wake up. She is not taking her food and we give her milk. In morning she wakes up at 0530 and is very fresh and active and goes to school happily. Please advise what is the reason for this.
What we stress, while child is crying is his physical needs. We totally miss to understand his emotional needs.
And what is life without emotions? Once we understand this. Whole lot of thoughts will tell us it's a boon.
Caring mother in the hour of crisis (emotional needs in hour of fear boredom, physical discomfort) of a child will develop a loving emotional bond with the child.
Friend in need is friend indeed. Trust is developed and love, confidence is born.
Humation emotions are either innate (primary) or learned (secondary). Human emotions that appear to be innate or primary are anger, fear, sadness, disgust, surprise, anticipation, trust, and joy. These are innate emotions because they are hardwired into human genes or develop early on due to their survival values.
Experience earned by the response to the primary caregivers to these emotions of children will develop secondary emotions in child
Human emotions that appear to be learned or secondary are love, guilt, and shame, embarrassment, helplessness, boredom, distraction, apprehension, acceptance, serenity, interest, and annoyance. These are learned emotions because they are learned through experience, family expressiveness, and over time in the environment, because of certain reactions toward environmental stimuli. Learned emotions seem to be emotion blends of innate emotions.
