For space we use to extract teeth so that the teeth comes into proper occlusion there is a myth of losing eye sight there is no relation between eye sight & teeth.

The bad breath is due to the volatile sulphur compounds just keep your mouth clean you can rinse your mouth with salt water or use of mouth rinses.
