HOW IS TINNITUS DIAGNOSED?
Your ENT specialist will conduct a physical examination followed by an audiological exam and movement test to diagnose the condition. Imaging tests such as CT scan and MRI may be needed for definitive diagnosis.
HOW IS TINNITUS TREATED?
Treatment is based on the underlying cause. Ear wax removal, treating a blood vessel condition and changing your medications are some of the treatment options. In case of age related tinnitus, use of hearing aids, tinnitus retaining device and masking devices can be useful.
