BLOCKED BLOOD VESSELS
Blocked blood vessels or arterial plaque is a medical condition in which there is a development in the inner walls of blood vessels. This results in a decreased flow of blood and often leads to heart attack, stroke or even death. Symptoms of blocked blood vessels are:

Treatment usually involves lifestyle changes such as no smoking, healthy food, reducing stress, weight loss, etc. If required, drugs and certain medical procedures are also recommended. Procedures to restore and improve blood flow include angioplasty and stent placement, Coronary artery bypass surgery, etc.
