Acute Myeloid Leukemia is a kind of blood cancer that develops from blood forming cells and starts in bone marrow. Symptoms include fatigue, acute fever, loss of sudden weight or appetite and sweating at night. Other symptoms may include bone or joint pain, rashes on skin, headache, blurred vision, vomiting and enlarged lymph nodes.

Treatment of Acute myeloid leukemia includes chemotherapy, radiation therapy, bone marrow transplant, remission induction therapy, consolidation therapy, stem cell transplant. Other treatments include drug therapies like arsenic trioxide, ATRA, etc., which are also used apart from acupuncture, massage, aromatherapy, meditation and relaxation exercises.
