Once you have stopped feeding from last one month, there is very little milk secretion. She must have stopped feeding on you because either milk was very less or u must be giving her bottle milk. There are some galactogauges which can increase ur milk production. If still she is not taking then u can express ur milk in a bowl and feed her with the spoon

Hi. I am having tonsillitis. I am taking zenflox 400 as antibiotic (twice a day), pacimol 500 (twice a day) as pain killer and allegra 120 (once a day) as anti allergic for the last two days but not getting any relief. I want to know can I stop all of the above mentioned medicines and take only clavam 625 or 1000 as ive heard its a much more effective medicine. Will it have any complications or side effects if I do that?

Once you start a medicine you must give enough time to it to work you can take paracetamol 500 3 or 4 times a day for pain do lot of salt water gargles. Avoid spicy fried chilled food. Take some rest. No antibiotic is better than other.. No medicine is without side effects but get they are minimal and selflimiting.

Mr. Lybrate-user, what is the query? you seem to have asthmatic condition probably due to allergy. The remedy for such a condition is to take prescribed drugs regularly, avoid exposure to known allergen and avoid excess physical strain as that also is likely to precipitate an attack. I have noticed in a few of my patients practicing pranayam (breathing exercises) regularly does help in overcoming the severity of the condition. The seven pranayams: bhastrika, kapalbhati, bahya, agnisar, anulom vilom, bhramari and udgit (om). Thse are really helpful.

Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine which can impair your sleep -Treatment:A cold usually lasts for a week or two. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn't need medical treatment. -Complications like infections of the ears, throat, sinuses or lungs must be treated with antibiotics. -Gargle to keep from getting a sore throat. -Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation. -Tablet nasorest-p once/twice daily may ease breathing. -Do steam inhalation once or twice daily -Cough- For dry cough.Take syrup Alex-D for a dry cough.(1 tsp thrice daily) -Productive cough:it brings up mucus from behind the throat or the lungs. These coughs should not be suppressed to the point that they no longer bring up mucus.
