Stammering is not a disease. It occurs due to lack of confidence and fear. Whenever you talk to someone forget that you have this problem and be fluent. Even while talking if you feel like stammering ignore it and continue talking. Whenever you are stuck in between just pause for a while or cough and later continue. By doing this no one can notice. Try this and let me know. The best thing is to practice talking in front of the mirror.

Dear, welcome to lybrate. Stammering is" speaking with sudden involuntary pauses and a tendency to repeat the initial letters of words" or" say something with difficulty, repeating the initial letters of words and with sudden involuntary pauses" stammering could be due to two reasons. First reason is vocal cord misalignment. Second is psychological performance anxiety. First of all you should consult an ent specialist and evaluate your vocal chords. If there is problem, ent specialist will be able to correct it. If there is no problem with your vocal chords, the best option is stammer therapy. I will help you. Don't worry. Take care.

Stammering is typically recognised by a tense struggle to get words out. This makes it different from the normal non-fluency we all experience which includes hesitations and repetitions. Commonly it involves repeating or prolonging sounds or words, or getting stuck without any sound (silent blocking). Sometimes people put in extra sounds or words. Often people lose eye contact. Some people who stammer talk their way round difficult words so that you may not realise they stammer at all. This avoidance of words, and avoidance of speaking in some or many situations, is an important aspect of stammering. Stammering varies tremendously from person to person and is highly variable for the person who stammers who may be fluent one minute and struggling to speak the next. Get an mri brain and eeg with a psychiatrist evaluation.

She is only 3.6 years old. It looks like you are being overprotective mother. Give her space to grow mentally, it does not look like any disease. If she cannot jump due to any physical reasons, do get her checked by doctor, but if she is stubborn, leave her alone, let her jump around at her will, let her study in a play school/ regular school. Remember too much discipline can be binding for growth of a kid.

Breathe deeply and exhale on a hisssssssing sound. Repeat 10 times. Proper breathing is the foundation for a healthy voice AND control over nervous energy that can make the voice quiver. Say “Mm-mmm (as in yummy) Mmm-hmm (like yes) ” Repeat 5 times. This develops mask resonance, which creates a clean and vibrant sound by creating a clean approximation of the cords and a resonance that will sound great and project easily. Say “Mm-mmm. Mmm-hmm.” up and down your vocal range, from low to middle to high and back again, 10 times.
