Hi, am 24 yrs old female. I have ear and throat itching at most of the time dat time I used to make one sound. Is it major problem? then what should I do? help me plz

MBBS, DGO (cal)
General Physician,
Sometimes such thing happens in everyone' s life. All make such noise. If your throat has become a continuous noise producing instrument then its problem for others. Jokes apart. Possibly you have allergic pharyngitis or low grade temporary infection of the throat. Do warm saline water gargle at bed time daily or better use betadine gargle lotion or listerine gargle lotion, may give better result. Betadine gargle lotion or listerine - how to use, is written on the bottle. Continue this for two weeks. Take a cetrizine 10 mg tab at 9 pm everyday for 5 days (it shall make you feel sleepy that' s why at 9 pm). Take shelcal 500 - 1 tab daily just before breakfast for one month, shall be helpful. Whenever you feel like doing this noise try to resist it or do a warm water gurgle. If it still persist consult an ent specialist. By the by, are you sure, you are having pcod? is it diagnosed?

I hope this message finds you in good health. To prevent hair fall, you can follow some simple steps as listed below: 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home). 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain pH balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin C like amla and oranges.

Sir I hav vitiligo problem, from last ten years, is there any medicine, please suggest.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello. White patches/ dots on your skin are a common type of depigmented skin lesion associated with an infection, allergy, or autoimmune disorder. One common cause of white spots, or hypopigmentation, is a fungal infection of the skin known as tinea versicolor (associated with other symptoms, such as itching or dryness on or around the white patches). This fungal infection is not contagious and can be treated easily with over-the-counter medications. The white spots and patches can also be because of deficiency of vitamin d (for which 15-20 minutes of exposure to early morning sunlight without sunscreen is needed, 3-4times a week). Or else they could be idiopathic (i. E, without any cause). Vitiligo is an autoimmune disorder which can be treated with homoeopathic medicines, but chances of relapses are also there. Please tell me other symptoms like about sensation on the area, since how long do you have this patch, any family history of white patch, etc. Meantime, you can start with homoeopathic medicines - cina 1m/ one dose daily at night and ars. Sulph. Flavum. 200/ twice daily for 20 days (it is safe). Apply a good brand's sunscreen with spf 40 on the skin (specially on the white patches/ spots) 20-30 minutes before going out under the sunscreen and reapply it after 3-4 hrs. Again.

Facial at home

BHMS
Homeopath,
Facial at home

Ever felt that your skin has lost its radiant glow? or that it's feeling a little too dry (or oily)? do you feel like in the midst of friends, work and relationships, there's absolutely no time to head to the spa for a facial? well not to worry, you can now give yourself a fabulous facial at home. So read on, and give these facial tips at home a try.

Cleanse:

To prep yourself for a facial, you need to start by washing your hands. Remember, you'll be using your hands to massage and treat your face. So they must be clean. Wash them with warm water and a simple bar soap. Your hands carry germs that can lead to breakouts on your skin.

Tie up your hair:

Tie you hair back (use a hairband to hold back stray strands or bangs). You need your face to be clear of any obstructions for a through facial.

Remove your makeup:

Now we move onto cleansing your face thoroughly. You can either use natural ingredients like milk or you can go for a gentle makeup cleanser (choose the cleanser that suits your skin type best.) use cotton balls to gently wipe off the makeup from your eyes, cheeks, lips, face and neck. Move the cotton ball in gentle circular motions. Around the eyes, be careful and use gentle strokes (don't tug at the skin!)

Exfoliate:

This is an important step. Exfoliation helps remove dead skin, reduces large pores and prevents fine lines and wrinkles. Spread the exfoliator on your palms and massage your skin in circular motions. You don't need to press the exfoliating beads into your skin, just a gentle amount of pressure is fine. Avoid scrubbing the exfoliator around your eyes. If you don't have an exfoliator, take a cup of milk and add a teaspoon of granulated sugar, this works just as well!

Steam:

Take a clean washcloth and run under hot water. Place it over your face and let it rest for five minutes. Alternatively, you can fill a pot of water till it is boiling. Then stand with your face above the steaming water. Drape a cloth over your head to prevent the steam from escaping. You can add drops of rosemary oil to add to the cleansing process. Steam your face for 10-15 minutes, not more. If you have sensitive skin, try and avoid this step as it can exacerbate the problem.

Mask:

The fourth step of this process is to apply the facial mask. It is vital to choose a facial mask that suits your skin type. For oily skin, you can try a mud or clay mask to absorb the extra oil from your skin. For dry skin, go for a hydrating or creamy face mask. Combination skin needs both these elements. Cover your face in a light mask, avoiding the areas around the eye. You can soothe your eyes with cucumber slices. After 15 minutes, wash off the mask with plenty of water and pat it try.

Moisturise:

To maintain the texture of your glossy skin, use a moisturiser after wiping off the face mask. For oily skin, you can choose a water-based or light moisturiser, while for dry skin you can use a denser cream. For sensitive skin, avoid a product with heavy fragrances or acidic ingredients. These can cause breakouts or rashes.

Hello, If those are acne marks, follow the below points: Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Natural products like shikakai and amla are better than chemical compositions of manufactured shampoos. *hair fall, dandruff and tendency for gray hair are dependent on several factors. Take homoeopathic medicine acid phos 30 twice daily and give feedback after 20 days.

Hello,Take healthy balanced diet including whole grains, green leafy vegetables, fruits and nuts. Drink 10 to 12 glasses of water daily. Take a sound sleep of 8 hours minimum. Apply bakson's under eye cream on the dark circles. Apply Ramdev's aloe vera gel on the whole face at night. Home remedy:-1.Cucumbers have skin-lightening and mild astringent properties that help fix those raccoon eyes naturally. Plus, they have a soothing and refreshing effect. Cut a fresh cucumber into thick slices and chill them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Put the slices onto the affected skin area for about 10 minutes. Wash the area with water. Repeat twice daily for about a week or more. Another option is to mix cucumber juice with lemon juice in equal amounts. Use a cotton ball to apply the mixture on the affected skin. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then wash it off with water. Follow this remedy daily for at least one week. 2.Raw Potato:-There are natural bleaching agents present in potato that can help lighten dark circles and get rid of puffiness around the eyes. Grate one or two raw potatoes to extract the juice. Soak a cotton ball in the juice and place it over your closed eyes. Make sure the juice covers the dark circles under your eyes as well as the eyelids. Allow the juice to sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse your eyelids well with cool water. Repeat once or twice daily for a few weeks. Instead of potato juice, you can also use thick potato slices to remove dark circles.

Sir/mam I have black dots occurring over my arms and upper back. I consulted with some GP and diagnosed as KERATOSIS ...
Hello, You can't prevent keratosis pilaris, but you can keep your skin moist to lessen its effects. Some simple things can help keep your skin comfortable: Don't scratch at the bumps or rub your skin roughly. Use warm water rather than hot for bathing and showering. Limit your time in the water. Try soap that has added oil or fat. Use thick moisturizers generously on the skin. Add moisture to the air in your home with a humidifier. Use only cotton clothes. Drink 10-12 glasses of water in a day. Eat vitamin A, C and E rich food. Medicaton: Use Schwabe's Skin Care bathing bar. Keep your skin moisturized, use Schwabe's Aloe Vera cream on body after bathing. Take homoeopathic medicines ? Schwabe's Silicea 6x and Calcarea Fluor. 12X ? both to be taken thrice daily for 1 month. There after, revert back to me for further guidance.
