Its just a soreness after workout so nothing to worry and please take rest between sets and do stretch before and after every set. Apply ice pack after your workout.

My mother is 55 years and she long time suffer joint pain ( finger, knees, shoulder). Bp is normal but some time high.

It might be of degenerative changes in the joints for pain she can have ift and laser therapy for 14 days followed by joint mobilization exercises from the therapist as long as bp concerned check it regularly and have medicines prescribed by your physician

Take tens therapy for 10 days avoid lifiting heavy objects for few days. Do some hand lifting rotating excercises.

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold fomentation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumbar support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. Do share investigation reports if you have any.

1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.

- Masturbation is a normal phenomenon and does not cause any harm. But don’t get addicted to it, divert your mind and keep yourself busy. no relation with back pain.

Hello sir. I am 19 years old. I am suffering from low back pain since two months it was started when my friend sat on my spine back suddenly and sat for 7 min after this I had severe pain in backside and my stomach pressed and became tight in lower abdomen unable to free it gradually my happenings: 1. At next day my total body is vibrates and unable to wake up feels so tired if eating wamthing sensation and sitting means severe acidity and sounds coming and no motion free. 2. For next 10 days seviour back pain unable to sleep if sleeping in comfortness feeling no sleep for 12 days and became so weak unable to eat, brush, walk, listen, write, speak, any thing felt un comfort daylong acidity water coming up if sit then becoming more pain in abdomen 3. next pain in hands seviour bones also if touching hands also pain it continued for 7 days next pain in upper thighs like tied with rope feeling in thighs and weighted feeling unable walk one feet also 4. Legs pain and if moving in sleep in body parts fracture like feeling and penis unable to control it is unable to lift if penis enlarging pain in it and surroundings 5. At present I am unable to whether there is connection between penis and my body stomach pain and back pain is not going day by day increasing pain but not curing where should I consult I already had-- scan in abdomen. X-ray in spine, blood test but all are normal then what is problem give me the solution Dr. Please.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. 1. Support the part and avoid weight bearing
2. Use soft bandage and support
3. Use ice for 30 minutes after 3 hours for first 2 to 3 days
4. Elevate th part
5. Take mild pain killer.

Hi looks like you have restless legs syndrome (rls) kindly rule out iron deficiency, diabetes. It can also be due to peripheral neuropathy alcohol and sleep deprivation. Treatment * begin a regular exercise program, *establish a regular sleep patterns, and *eliminating or decreasing the use of caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco, may be helpful. *leg massages *apply hot baths or heating pads or ice packs to the legs do reply for detail treatment plan. I am injured with cricket ball falling from large hight just upon my left thumb now after 1 month its not working properly when I pressure somewhere with left thumb it starts pain what should I do.

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

Hi back pain after delivery of a child is a usual problem for all the mother so hence you have to strengthen your core muscle as due to pregnancy your core muscle are under a lot of stress and goes into weakness. Start taking hot packs twice daily which will reduce your muscle spasms.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back & neck pains. If you have localized neck and lower back pain with no other symptoms like radiating pain in limbs, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back & neck region while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and neck region and few blood tests for evaluation. Hi you can relieve short-term joint pain with a few simple techniques at home. 1) protect the joint with a brace or wrap. 2) rest the joint, avoiding any activities that cause you pain. 3) ice the joint for about 15 minutes, several times each day. 4) compress the joint using an elastic wrap. 5) elevate the joint above the level of your heart. 6) if you are overweight do exercise like swimming or cycling to reduce weight. Still you don't get relief consult me via lybrate as further investigation may be needed.

Hello start physiotherapy treatment and learn posture care/ spine exercise. Meanwhile take few precautions. 1) take hot water fomentation for 20 min. At every 3hrs. Twitching can be because of Vitamin deficiencies or muscle tightness&weakness. Improve your diet. Supplement it with Vitamin B12 if you are vegetarian. Also, in addition to this, start doing some stretching and strengthening exercises for the lower limbs like calf stretch, hamstring and quadriceps stretch. Hope this will help!!
