I used to play cricket and volleyball almost every day but suddenly from past 6 months I encountered knee pain in both of legs. I have been to two hospitals and both of them said there's nothing to be worried, but I'm getting huge pain at my knee area whenever I'm trying to play. Is there anything to be done to reduce that pain so that I can play again regularly without any pain in my knee part.

Use ice packs every day for 5 min after your post setion. Do knee strengthen exercises regularly .go for kainesio tape for support the knee joint .do hydrotherapy exercises once pain minimise.

I have cervical spondylosis. Its very painful. I have severe pain on my shoulder, lower back and hip. Now the pain is continuing to arms and legs. Often my head goes round. I have taken an x ray and it said there is degradation of the bone. Whenever I drive two wheeler my pain increases. At presently I take a pain killer and vertigin 8 mg or 16 mg. For application I use volini or relax gel. Can any one suggest me a good medicine to treat this problem permanently. Is there a permanent treatment in allopathy, ayurveda, homeopathy, acupuncture or any other medicine. Doctors please guide me and prescribe me a medicine to get rid of this problem.

I have pain in between the joints of my shoulders at the back which makes it uncomfortable for me to move my neck n change the side during sleep. Its pain. What should I do?

Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Inform after 5 days.

1.You can take Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg one tablet stat after food 2.You Can do Hot fomentation twice a day for 5 min for 3 days I am giving to some common reasons for LEG PAIN 1. generalized weakness 2. Anaemia 3. physical exertion 4. lack of protein in Diet 5. any infection present on leg or foot 6. muscle weakness 7 abrupt start/ stop of physical exercise 8. Vit D and Calcium Deficiency so we have to evaluate cause in your case

Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

Hi, I am having a stressed feeling and occasional pain in the right shoulder trapezium. It has been over 7-8 months. Occasionally I tend to go to the gym for a few weeks, when there is not much stress/pain in the muscle. Any suggestions on the possible treatment for the same?

Dear lybrate-user, Backpain, joint pains and headache at an age of 31, without being overweight, needs evaluation to rule out inflammatory arthritis, but before you go for any investigation, my recommendation would be for you would be to have a look at your life style, be active, exercise regularly, have healthy food and watch if your symptoms improve.
