How masturbation affects health and how to overcome the nasty habit?

MBBS
General Physician, Mumbai
How masturbation affects health and how to overcome the nasty habit?

One drop of semen is equal to about 40 drops of blood,

Masturbation is like taking a razor and slashing the wrist,
One should avoid masturbation or any illicit sex activity. Imagine how much weakness and reduction of work efficiency can masturbation cause! Sex other than for procreation and within marriage is illicit sex activity, so masturbation comes under illicit sex.

To avoid illicit sex and the nasty habit of masturbation :

1) Eating less in night,

2) Avoid non-vegetarian foods

3) Avoid intoxicants like tobacco,alcohol

4) Avoid onions and garlic which are aphrodisiacs and bind to lust and masturbation.

5) Take fruits, vegetables and drink hot cup of cow's milk every night

6) Avoid foods which are too pungent, spicy, oily, bitter because such foods cause misery and disease

7) Read nice books based on simple living high thinking and make your life successful

You should be very careful and determined to stop this nasty habit as soon as possible as it can cause many problems physically, mentally, socially etc

The truth is sometimes harsh but if taken positively, it can ultimately lead to happiness and success. The truth is in the oldest and fully dependable Vedic texts, that by illicit sex activity, one takes the risk of becoming an animal in next life.

Hope this helps to win over the nasty habit of illicit sex and masturbation.

There is a possibility you have contracted a urine infection. Please get a urine re and culture/sensitivity done. Please do a urine pregnancy test if you miss your periods next month. Further treatment will depend on these results.

A CD4 count is a lab test that measures the number of CD4 T lymphocytes (CD4 cells) in a sample of your blood. In people with HIV, it is the most important laboratory indicator of how well your immune system is working and the strongest predictor of HIV progression. To understand why it’s important, it’s helpful to know what CD4 cells are. CD4 cells (often called T-cells or T-helper cells) are a type of white blood cells that play a major role in protecting your body from infection. They send signals to activate your body’s immune response when they detect “intruders,” like viruses or bacteria. Once a person is infected with HIV, the virus begins to attack and destroy the CD4 cells of the person’s immune system. HIV uses the machinery of the CD4 cells to multiply (make copies of itself) and spread throughout the body. This process is called the HIV life cycle. So, during your regular check-ups, your HIV care provider will want to know your CD4 count to help keep track of how healthy you are and whether the virus has progressed in your body: The CD4 count of an uninfected adult/adolescent who is generally in good health ranges from 500 cells/mm3 to 1,200 cells/mm3. A very low CD4 count (less than 200 cells/mm3) is one of the ways to determine whether a person living with HIV has progressed to stage 3 infection (AIDS). (See Stages of HIV Infection.) Your CD4 count is also used to help you and your HIV care provider decide when to start antiretroviral therapy (ART).

Rotating the Fetus - Understanding the Procedure!

MBBS, DNB - Obstetrics and Gynecology, DGO
Gynaecologist, Delhi
Rotating the Fetus - Understanding the Procedure!

In a normal pregnancy, the baby develops with its head pointed down, and the head is usually the part which comes out first during normal delivery. However, in many cases, the baby could have its legs, feet, or buttocks pointing to the cervix. In a majority of cases, the baby may have this position, but rotates to have its head pointing down before the third trimester. However, this may not happen, and this is referred to as breech.

In a lot of cases, the doctor would try to move the baby’s head downwards usually around the 37th week, and this is referred to as external cephalic version (ECV) or even as version. The process is done externally by manipulation and hence the name external. It is done before labor and may allow for a vaginal birth. In very rare cases, it may be done during labor, but before the amniotic sac has ruptured. As a backup, there should be a provision for the patient to undergo C-section, if ECV is not successful.

Indications:

  1. Single pregnancy, into 36 weeks of pregnancy, with no complications, and preferably not the first pregnancy
  2. No engagement of the fetus (any part) in the uterus
  3. Adequate amniotic fluid, which will provide a good environment to move the baby with minimal injury

Contraindications:

  1. Suspected/known birth defects
  2. Multiple pregnancies (twins/triplets)
  3. Ruptured amniotic sac
  4. Fetus with a hyperextended neck
  5. Mother’s health is not optimal and is on cardiac medications
  6. Condition that mandates a cesarean section (placental separation from the uterus, placenta covering the cervix, etc.)

Procedure

The fetal position is first estimated using an ultrasound. The position of the placenta and the amount of amniotic fluid are also closely monitored. Under constant monitoring, the uterus is relaxed through medications. With one hand on the fetal head and another on the buttocks, the doctor tries to rotate the fetus. Depending on how much pressure the mother is able to tolerate and how flexible the uterus is, version may be successful (success rate is about 60%).

A second attempt under epidural anesthesia may be done, if the first one did not succeed. However, the chances of success with subsequent attempts is very doubtful. The fetus is constantly monitored through ultrasound and fetal heart rate monitoring. A fetus is considered healthy if the heart rate moves up during this procedure. However, if the heart rate seems abnormally high, the procedure would be abandoned.

After the procedure, the mother and the fetus would be monitored for a while before being sent home. As the fetus is constantly monitored throughout pregnancy, the doctor would be able to tell if this procedure is required. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a gynaecologist.

No need for any consultation rt now, wait for a few days, you will get your periods. Since you are a PCOs case it's advised not to indulge in any of these unwanted pills as they are harmonals which disturbs cycles ,and have an untoward effect especially if you are already on harmonal medication for cysts.
