I am a software developer so I used to work for 9 hours on chair. So i have started gym few weeks back . I am experiencing a back pain from past 3 days. What should I do ?

Give some rest to your body, if pain goes away then ask trainer to go slow on you focus on only body weight exercises in the beginning then start with weights. Evenn after rest pain continues then see a physio.

Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight Leg Raise: Lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Rhus tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Kalmia latifolia 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Having strain & pain from right hip to feet autometically released after 20-30min. Walk, no definciencies in x-ray, using" gabapin me" as advised by doctor since ten days. Advise proper treatment please ?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I want to know your detailed clinical history, your relevant investigations, your treatment records till now. It helps me to better understand your condition and prescribe accordingly. You have only mentioned leg pain, do you also have back pain with off and on radiation to legs, x rays will normally not show anything since it shows only bony structure and not nerves. Gabapin is drug used for management of neuropathic pain but dose depends upon your symptoms. Please also mention your co-morbid conditions and drug allergy. Hi make daily routine for exercises which keeps your back fit and healthy. Exercises for back includes.
