This problem may be due to Any medical disease like Anaemia/ Hypoproteinemia/ Thyroid problem/Vit D deficiency Multi mineral and vitamin Deficiency Stress/ anxiety Over exertion (physical and mental) follow advises given below: 1. Take adequate rest 2. Proper diet 3. Hi I can understand your problem. For pain and swelling apply cold pack for 20 min. Thrice a day for 5 days. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

I understand your pain. Nowadays back pain is a very common complaint in young adults. So donot worry. It can be due to various reasons. Many of the problem occurs for which we are not aware. If possible please visit our physio department and take some pain relieving modalities. Once pain will reduce you can start exercises which will make you fit and away from all pain. As an advice: apply ice or heat which ever suits you directly to the area of low back pain will decrease swelling and inflammation, and ease your discomfort. Apply it for 10 to 15 minutes only thrice a day. Below is some precautions you can take: precautions: 1. Avoid forward bending, if required then bend your knees first and then bend forward. 2. Avoid weight lifting. 3. Sit in chairs or car seats with proper back support. 4. Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your back like sidelying. 5. Get enough vit d from sun as vit d keep bones strong including spine, 6. Drink plenty of water to enhance the inter vertebral disks 7. Avoid standing in the one position for a long time. 8. Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your back. 9. Regular habit of meditations is necessary to fit healthy. Hope this answer your question. Get well soon.

My wife is having shoulder / knee pain. After taking MRI scans, they have observed little bulge in knee but none of the medicines relieved the pain. . we suggest you can do hot water fermentation and ice therapy at home. If you have shoulder pain then the stiffness will develop more that might make the arm to have less improvement which might make you to feel more pain the arm. And also cervical pillow can be used which might make you to have better posture of the shoulder neck and arm We also suggest patients to do shoulder mobilization exercises ie. general shoulder movements/neck movements which will help you to improve the blood circulation.or knee pain you have to do the strengthening exersises .for eg 'keep towel under the knee press for a while count up to 10,then keep a towel at the ankle press as the same

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold fomentation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumber support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. This could be due to lumbar spondylosis with nerve root compression. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days x 5days do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you may have to use lumbosacral support for some time. Avoid painful act/activities. Take medicines as prescribed it may have to be further investigated.

Over weight is the main cause of her problem. Let her avoid the usual meals and depend only on salads and fruits. If not diabetic. Reduction of weight is compulsory. Further give acupressure with a pencil on blunt edge between the mid portion of the ankle bone and the tendons on either side of the leg. Repeat on the other leg also. Report after 5 days.
