Your loss is completely understandable. However with any such stress in life we need to learn to cope up and moron gradually. However it's eels you have been unable to do so. If you remain anxious and depressed and feeling sad for your loss even after 1 year of that trauma, you certainly need help. I would suggest you to consult a psychiatrist without much hesitation.

Hello sir I drink wine daily n I want to leave my bad habit so how can I do it. What to do.

Hi lybrate-user, A key step in the best method to quit alcohol is to let people around you know about your intentions. This will help reduce the surprise they feel when they see you are not drinking. In turn, it will lessen their comments of surprise, which could catch you off guard and make you want to drink. Telling those around you about your plans to quit will also help give you a support network. If your friends and family know you are not drinking anymore, they will not offer you a glass. Even better, they will give you the encouragement you need to turn down a glass of wine at a restaurant or gathering. When you let people know your plans for staying sober, it also increases your accountability. Most people will try harder to succeed in a goal if others know about it. You will not want to be embarrassed by failure and will also avoid the feeling of letting down the people you love. 2) Another important aspect that you will learn about when in pursuit of how to give up drinking wine is to choose your companions carefully. If you have friends that have a glass or two of wine with every meal, you should definitely avoid dining with them at least for some time. Some of your acquaintances are responsible for the quantity of wine you drink by doing things like saying you should have “just one more glass of wine.” These are the friends you should avoid spending time with for the moment because they will make your road to recovery harder. In the beginning, giving up wine can be incredibly difficult and if you are around people who are not supportive, it will be even harder. Instead, choose to spend time with people who do not drink or those who you trust not to drink around you. Look for friends or family members that have fun without alcohol. 3) Just because you want to know how to stop drinking wine on your own doesn’t mean you can’t use the tools around you for help. The vitamin B1 is a supplement that is a useful tool because it can make it much easier to abstain from alcohol. Thiamine is important for metabolism of sugar and a deficiency in B1 is associated with alcoholism. It is critical to the functioning of certain biochemical processes specifically in the brain. When you are deficient in this critical vitamin, you will have a much more difficult time controlling cravings. You can find this vitamin in beans, meat such as pork, rice, nuts, peas, soybeans and bran. If you do not want to adjust your diet to encompass consuming more vitamin B1 then you can simply get more from over the counter vitamins in your system to help combat your cravings. 4) Another high quality natural method to quit alcohol is Turmeric. This natural herb is excellent for detoxing the liver. It is beneficial in reducing inflammation, as well as regenerating the cells of the liver. It will also help to promote the production of bile, which cleans the liver and rids it of toxins. It is important to get this herb from an herbal supplier and not from the seasoning section of your grocery store. You will have a better level of nutrients when you purchase from a supplier over the grocery store. This herb is f in the ginger family and is in Indian dishes. When you begin, your journey to quit drinking you will find that you are going to need all the resources you have. You are also going to need to detoxify your body, especially the liver because it has been dealing with so many toxins. Quality herbal supplements are the ideal way to detoxify. Talk to doctor in case of withdrawal symptoms. Rome wasn't built in a day. You're probably not going to kick your habit in a week, either. That's perfectly okay. Small victories beget bigger ones. In the beginning, simply try to reduce the amount of alcohol you consume. Going straight from a heavy drinker to cold turkey is a recipe for physical and emotional disaster. Imagine that due to excess alcohol, you are vomiting and having paralyzing headaches. If you've felt this way before while drinking, try to summon those memories. The pain you feel is good: it's a willingness to change your habits, and that's the first step. Even if you only reduce your daily drinking by one drink, it's a success. No step is too small at this point. A mistake here is getting comfortable only curbing your drinking by one drink. Keep working on reducing the alcohol you consume. Every week, cut down the total number of drinks by at least one. If you want to be more ambitious, try halving the number of drinks you allow yourself each week. Do meditation regularly especially in the morning. At the end of the session, vow not to drink alcohol. Remember your calm mind of meditation later when you feel like drinking. It will distract you. Pick up yoga! It will help you deal with stress and calm your mind. Best of all, yoga can be done in a group setting where you can feed off of the energy of other people. Embrace that positive energy. All the very best.

Hi You have asked a very good question. And it also seems that you are quite well informed about your medicines and their mechanism of action. Antidepressants usually act by modulating the level of serotonin. There are certain foods which can have an impact on serotonin. However not significant enough to be of any clinical use. A healthy balanced diet consisting of vegetables, fruits and fibers along with regular exercise is recommended in general. Regards.

अधिकांश लोगों का मानना है कि मानसिक विकार असाधारण हैं। परंतु मानसिक विकार सामान्य और व्यापक हैं। वास्तव में, वे कैंसर, मधुमेह या हृदय रोग से ज्यादा आम हैं। मानसिक बीमारी एक ऐसी बीमारी है जो सोच और / या व्यवहार में गंभीर गड़बड़ी का कारण बनती है, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप जीवन की सामान्य मांगों और दिनचर्या से निपटने में कठिनाई होती है। 
मानसिक बीमारी के 200 से अधिक वर्गीकृत रूप हैं। कुछ अधिक सामान्य विकारों में अवसाद, द्विध्रुवी विकार, मनोभ्रंश, सिज़ोफ्रेनिया और चिंता विकार शामिल हैं। लक्षणों में मनोदशा, व्यक्तित्व, व्यक्तिगत आदतों और / या सामाजिक वापसी में परिवर्तन शामिल हैं। किसी विशेष स्थिति या घटनाओं की श्रृंखला के कारण अत्यधिक तनाव से मानसिक स्वास्थ्य समस्या हो सकती है। पर्यावरण संबंधी तनाव, आनुवांशिक कारकों, जैव रासायनिक असंतुलन या इनका संयोजन मानसिक बीमारी का कारण हो सकता है।

Dear, I have got married by 12th Feb of this year. D next week my father in law admitted in hospital discovered multiple myeloma from that moment till now we never been anywhere no honeymoon not even to temple. And we have separate home though my hubby always wanted to stay in his uncle home. My hubbys mom dad his brother and my mother in laws two sister and three brothers along with their partners and kids lives in same totally 22 members in single home. And we have only two rooms. Where my mother in last two sisters sleep with their husband we being newly married sleep in hall along others that too my hubby in one corner and me in other corner. Single bathroom we should all use it. Ours is love marriage before marriage he loved me so much. But now changed it a complete mummy's boy. We can't talk anything can't go anywhere all people will interfere in our personal. Hubby shakes his head for whatever his mom says. I was brought up in a luxurious way. It's very hard for me to handle these things and many hidden inside. My age is 23 and my hubby age s 27. Am under complete frustrated going mad. Please do help me. Waiting for your reply.

You are in a bad situation not doubt but there is also a medical contingency and so a lot of things have to be tolerated. But your husband's attachment to his mother's apron strings is something of concern. many times during courtship you can observe these signs however subtle they may have been if you looked carefully. Now it is too late and you are already into your marriage. You will have to learn to live with it because you will spend your whole life trying to change this man and may also encounter a lot of resistance from both him and his mother. so you are then left with the alternative of sharing your husband with your MIL, fortunately not physically. You must inform him though that the first two years of your marriage will determine the next years of your life. By the looks of it, it seems to be going all wrong. You must learn to tolerate or else move into your own home, immediately. The last idea is the best if you can convince him. If you are patient and can out the medical emergency, then it would be a prudent time to initiate all these possibilities. Look at the cost of doing it now or later. If you pushed any agenda now, you could jeopardize the relationship itself. This is not worth taking the risk.

I am 16 years old boy and I am suffering from deep brain damage disorder due to late night studies and nightouts during exams before 2 years. This is second time i'm writing to you .i completed 10th class with 9.7 gpa points. This is the time informed my father about my brain is not functioning properly .my brain used to stop for at least 2 hours a day and also during exam my hand used to stop, hand writing changes ,cannot think properly, cannot imagine the answer. After however I completed my exams using tablets *sulpitac *clonazem then psychiatrist changed my course with tablets *schidon plus hcl then slowly my brain functioning decreased day by day and due to this tablets I used to sleep for many hours .then one day I forgot to take tablets and my mind fully changed that it stopped working like my thoughts ,imagination, interest,talking inside heart all feelings also stopped. Again I started swallowing tablets but no change appeared. Upto to now it is 10 months that my brain stopped functioning. I tried many tablets like *stalopam, ampicon *daxid ,amsyc *and many more tablets for depression ,psychosis etc now I am taking tablets like risperidone, trihexyphenidyl hcl .because the doctor informed me that this is psychosis. My symptoms are like *lack of thoughts ,imagination ,interest or pleasure in activities, no proper sleep,*i am roaming at small place 24 hrs *there are no feelings at all for me *there are no problems like fever, cough,malaria or cold from 10 months or during this disorder. *this is winter but i'm not getting cold and no feeling. *hair became rough and when apply oil its soaking inside fastly. *my growth also stopped. *disorders in masticating food and vomiting, headache. *i am not to judge good or bad *i'm taking less food now than before *i'm not able to study ,understand ,focus, concentrate so I have quit this year for college. There is no feeling at all.*i'm getting thoughts of suicide and also quit this life. Doctors are telling this is psychosis ,i'm telling that my brain has stopped working, you are saying this depression. I want to take ect treatment once to stimulate my brain. I tried many tablets but no response .now i'm even getting thoughts of suicide and even I attempt to make suicide .please say that if ect works or not for my problems ,no one understanding my brain problem .even doctors also. I say this brain damage is due to lack of sleep at nights. Now what I should do? Doctors say this is psychosis but i'm not getting hallucinations and delusions and also i'm aware of my behaviour my outside behavior is good but inside its like a mix of jaundice ,malaria ,typhoid ,etc. I even tried tablets for depression for so many months but no response to this tablets. Should it is correct to take ect?

If you are a regular drinker, motivational therapy with a trained psychotherapist or a psychiatrist and enormous will power will help you quit. If you are a diseased drinker, consult a de addiction psychiatrist at the earliest. He may give you anti-craving medications and de addiction treatment. It may involve getting admitted to a deaddiction unit for 15-30 days.

My mother, 45 years of age, is suffering from depression. This started in april 2017 when we first saw the symptoms. Then she was treated and was under medication. Medicine helped a lot in her recovery but now the medicine have started to give side effects so we stopped giving the medicine from then she is fine but she is having sleeping disorder. She sometimes falls asleep withing 5 min and sometimes she is not able yo fall asleep. When she sleeps she sometimes have unusual dreams and it feel like she is doing some activity in her dreams but when she wakes up she do not remember the dreams. Please suggest what should we do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It can be treated with either medicines or psychotherapy or both, depending upon the exact nature, severity and duration of symptoms. Simple things that you can do at home are yoga, breathing exercises and meditation. Minor symptoms will get corrected that way. But if the symptoms are very troublesome, you will need a consultation with a specialist for detailed evaluation, diagnosis and treatment. The key thing to remember here is it is treatable, not a very serious condition and therefore you don't have to worry. Take care!

I am suffering from anxiety from past 2 months. And sometime I feel I will forgot everything, what I am doing, what is there very irregular things. What to do I don't want to eat anxiety medicine.

It's quite natural that when you are under high anxiety you forget things. But being irregular is not a symptom of anxiety, it because of a habituated behaviour. Some time this irregularity it self may be the cause of anxiety. Meet a clinical psychologist at the earliest, have an evaluation done and under go the necessary therapy to overcome the problem.

Colapam plus is an ssri used in depressive disorders and allied mental health conditions. I hope you have stopped this medicine through systematic manner of systematic tapering as advised by your psychiatrist. Withdrawal symptoms include nausea, agitation anxiety etc. As the case is psychiatric, psychiatric medicines can help you and you s consult your psychiatrist. Drink plenty of water and fruit juices, exercise vigorously, engage in entertaining activities. Cbt nay also help you. Take care.

I am twenty six year boy and my body is very weak when I talk to anyone but there is a strong personality in my mind but when I talk to others I am very bad situation faces my head getting very pain and the legs are vibrating my hands are shivering can you suggest the right reason ?

You are probably making an unfair comparison with other people when you meet them. If you truly have faith in the strength of your personality, why do you abandon it when you meet other people? So there could be low self-esteem, poor self-image, and low self-confidence. May be you have incorporated these from somewhere in your childhood, inadvertently. I suspect this is so because in your true mind you believe otherwise but you can see that what is embedded in your unconscious mind is more powerful and you may have incorporated something contraindicative to your true self. Your reactions are really gross as a result. You could use affirmations quite effectively but I advise you to work with a counselor and identify that input from childhood and sort that out. Your emotions would play a very significant role too and it would help to go through some emotional therapy too. We are what we think we are, and since you have a huge difference when compared to others (mostly in the mind) your whole world changes. True faith in yourself must go deep down and cannot be easily shaken, which I think is lacking. In the bible there is a fabulous and true statement, ?Where there is true love, there is no fear.? And likewise I can confidently say, where there is true and complete faith, there is no fear.? Build your faith in yourself, and nothing can stop you.

I am college student and last year I was detained from college coz of low attendance I had to repeat one sem and now m in my last year and I do not feel like going to college coz what they did to me last year was unnecessary I feel scared to go to college I be home when I don't go to college I just sleep all day and night I don't feel hungry I get angry very easily and tensed too much about everything my personality is affected I used to not get tensed for small things but now even the smallest thing gone wrong makes my heart beats fast and makes me restless I have to deal with college till April but every passing day is tough for me please help.

If you continue to withdraw, you will easily get into a depression, which is worse to deal with. It does not matter what the college did last year, it really matters that you take your life and future into hands and do something constructive. The college will never be affected by your actions: you are hurting yourself only. So give up on your anger and ego and go and finish your studies. You are at the very fag-end of your academic performance and can easily jeopardize your entire life by your stubbornness. If it is still difficult, meet with a counselor who will probably advise you on the same course of action I recommend. April is just a few months away and will pass by quickly. Go and finish your last year successfully. Anyway you will have to complete your studies and dealying it further will be a lifelong regret for you.

I am getting stressed after full day working, what will be do for getting energies ?

If the work load is causing the stress, learn to manage your work well. You could talk to your supervisor and tell him about the stress and he may suggest some better ways of doing what you are doing. Stress is eventually all about the perception of stress. If you change the outlook, the result will be 350`different. If there is a possibility to delegate some work to someone else, please do so. To feel energized you must eat healthy food involving whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Drink green tea and a lot of buttermilk every day. You may eat an egg every day too: it is a multivitamin and multi-mineral, all built into one. You must exercise regularly, especially the aerobic kind. Get at least 8 hours of good sleep and the more you sleep before midnight the better. Learn some stress management and meditation. You must identify our feelings and make sure you express all of them, appropriately. Maintain good relations, especially at home. Deep breathing exercises help to calm a person, immediately. Do not indulge in drinking and smoking.

The simplest method of removing minor surface stains is polishing, or micro-abrasion if staining is more intrinsic. Provided that your discolouration is not due to inadequate enamel exposing the dentin, tooth whitening (bleaching) is often the most effective treatment for yellow stained teeth. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply snowdent paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min. Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results.
