I want to build my body fastly  and  so i  can take job in army shortly which type medicine I take please advice me.
Gaining weight in the form of muscles may take sometime so you have to be little patient and put in a lot of efforts. Eat healthy diet which has adequate amount of whole grains like brown rice, whole wheat etc, optimum protein in the form milk and milk products, whole pulses, egg, lean chicken and fish. Try to have frequent meals (within 2-2.5 hrs) and do not skip any of your meal. Also try to include weight training exercises in order to build muscles and boost healthy fat in the body. Weight gain is a time consuming process. You need to do patiently. You can add protein, multigrain chapatti, and fruit shakes like banana shake, mango shake in your diet, non veg proteins.

Hi, As I have increased my waist size from 28 to 34. I want to reduce it. Is there any way to reduce your waist size?
Some of the points are below: Have small and frequent meals Avoid overeating Walk and exercise at least 45 min per day Drink minimum 3 litre water per day Use only 3-4 tsp of oil / day Avoid fried food Increase quantity of salad and green vegetable in diet and decrease quantity of starch and high carbohydrates.

Following are the suggestions for you- 1. Have small and frequent meals. 2. Include fresh fruits and vegetables in your daily diet. 3. Water intake should be at least 10-12 glasses. 4. Include high fibre, complex carbohydrate and protein rich diet. 5. Use 3-4 tsp oil in a day. 5. Exercise daily for 30-45 minutes. 6. Avoid high starch and fried foods. 7. Avoid sweets, cakes, pastries, chocolates, honey, sugar, etc.

For weight loss. It is important to take frequent meals at regular interval of time. Empty stomach try to include 2 tsp aleovera juice+ 2 tsp amla juice in equal amount of water. In Breakfast you can museli/oats+ milk+ 1 apple /1 bowl green moong dal sprouts/1-2 besan cheela+ green chutney. In mid morning 1 cup green tea + 1 bowl fruits. Lunch 1-2 wheat bran roti+ 1bowl veg+ 1 bowl salad/1 bowl veg daliya + 1bowl curd E.T:1 cup tea+ 1bowl roasted channa/murmura Dinner: 1 bowl fruits+ 1glass skimmed milk/Grilled/roasted paneer/1-2 bowl cooked yellow moong dal+ 1bowl veg. After Dinner Take 1 cup jasmine tea. Drink soy milk and lots of water. Take fish oil and salmon. Include more fiber in the diet. Use low fat milk, brown sugar, flax seed. Take good sleep. 10 minutes of sunlight for vitamin D.Avoid salt in the diet, caffeine, processed foods like instant noodles, pies, bread rolls, artificial sugar, diet coke, sweetener, spices and hot spicy foods.

Hello dr, I am thyroid patient for about 7 years. My weight always gain and thyroid test not normal so many times fexculated means tsh high sometime t4high. I am feeling very lazy and weakness. So please help me what can I do.

In order to lose weight with thyroid, the best practise is to follow a 5 meal pattern which includes 3 Major meal (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) and 2 Minor meals (Mid Morning and Evening Snack). It is very important to eat small and frequent meals to control weight. Also try to include healthy carbs in the form of whole grains like whole wheat, daliya, oats, brown rice, barley, ragi etc and reduce the consumption of simple carbs like simple sugar and refined flour. Include healthy proteins like low fat milk and milk products, whole pulses, egg whites, lean chicken etc. A 30-45 minutes of aerobic exercise like brisk walk, cycling etc are the best exercises to practise.
