I have constant pain in my lower back not very severe pain but a persistent pain if I bend I find little difficulty in getting back. Can you advise what this means.

Sir/Mam I was diagnosed with rheumatoid fever when I was three and took penicillin 12 lakh units injection till the time I was 16, two years ago I joined gym as I was getting overweight and reduced 15 kgs within two months as I took crash dieting which resulted in low immunity and I started suffering from frequent cold so I stopped going to gym Currently I got overweight again and have frequent pain in my legs and no strength in my body, getting tired very fast also Is it safe to join gym again and what could I do to get strength. I am 70 years old and physically quite active, playing Golf regularly. My systolic is usually more than 140 but diastolic remains around 80 inspite of taking BP medicines regularly. Inflammation and resultant pain in the joints are usually the basic tenets of Arthritis. This joint disorder can be painful and often, a debilitating one. It can also make the joints stiff. There are many ways of dealing with this problem, but with Ayurveda, one can get to the root cause of the ailment and its presence. - Diet: In Ayurveda, to treat ailments like Arthritis, it is usually recommended that a patient should start by flushing out the body toxins from within. Diet is one of the ways in which this can be done. A detoxification diet to clean the colon would be one of the foremost ways of doing a cleanse. Further, in one's daily diet, there should be a good dose of vegetables, fruits and other juices. Also, one must have plenty of herbs and spices, which can be used to season the food. Curd should generally be avoided and garlic should be used liberally.
