Hey doctor! Im 22 and I've been facing allot of issues with myself. Starting I used to have severe headache problems. I still have it but its too often now. I used to take saridon probably everyday to deal with the headaches. Pain in calves when I run even for a minute. I feel tired all the time. I suffered pain in my testicles few times. Sometimes I also have a very severe cramp in the centre of my chest where the rib cage starts to separate. It is usually when I exercise. And I faced sex problems as well. Not lasting for even a minute. I have low concentration and face mood swings and also get irritated easily. Im stressed, depressed and might be a victim of anxiety. The biggest problem is over thinking. My brain keeps working and I keep thinking all the time. I feel I have many symptoms of low testosterone. I haven't shared it with anyone yet. And yes, I started smoking up 4,5 years ago and have also consumed cannabis/marijuana from past 2,3 years. I have gained fat now and also I have man boobs which might be because of the mass gainer I had while gyming an year back. What happens with me nowadays is I cnt concentrate, I get hell lot of confused, DISAPPOINTMENTS, fear of having no money. If im onto something I really want to do. Firstly I deal with concentrating on it. After some time I get involved into some other things and end up getting more n more confused and disappointed. Help me with it. Thankyou so much. I'll be waiting for your revert.

You have slowly built up a pile of problems for yourself and to top it up you have started worrying :) It is high time you took control of your life ....leave smoking, lose weight, start exercising and put your mind to creative pursuits. Do not waste such a precious life. Best would be to talk to your mother or sibling or close friend. Then get rid of your bad habits and also meet a counselor. All is not lost.....best of luck.

I am unable to get sleep in nights for the last three days. What should I do now?

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
I am unable to get sleep in nights for the last three days. What should I do now?
Exercise. Nothing aids sleep at night like a good workout during the day. You don’t have to join a gym or spend hours on a treadmill to reap the benefits, though. Try taking a dance or yoga class with a friend, playing activity-based video games with your kids, watching your favorite TV show while on a stationary bike, or enjoying outdoor activities such as golf, playing Frisbee, or even yard work. Aim for 30 minutes or more of activity on most days—or three 10-minute sessions if that’s more convenient—but not too close to bedtime. Avoid naps. Napping during the day can make it more difficult to sleep at night. If you feel like you have to take a nap, limit it to 30 minutes before 3 p. M. Limit caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine. Stop drinking caffeinated beverages at least eight hours before bed. While alcohol can make you feel sleepy, it interferes with the quality of your sleep, and nicotine is a stimulant. Avoid late meals. Try to avoid heavy, rich foods within two hours of bed. Fatty foods can take a lot of work for your stomach to digest and spicy or acidic foods can cause heartburn. Stick to a regular sleep schedule. Support your biological clock by going to bed and getting up at the same time every day, including weekends, even if you’re tired.

I am 22 years old and unmarried. I have a chocolate cyst of 52×33 mm in right ovary and a chocolate cyst of 38×34 mm in left ovary. My Dr. recommend me femovan tablet. What should I do? Does the medicine is effective? Or I should opt for surgery?

Too early for surgery. Better start taking medicines regularly for 3 months It is a chronic condition accompanied by inflammation .so you should also take anti inflammatory drugs. If not relieved of symptoms in 3 months n size of chocolate cysts increases, then plan for surgery.

No need for home treatment. As physiological jaundice can remain for 1 month. If she has continous fever. Vomiting or unable to take feed than consult paediatrician in person.
