I have visual snow. Whenever I see things in dark environments I see television like spots everywhere.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
I have visual snow. Whenever I see things in dark environments I see television like spots everywhere.
Spots are not a very clear term, and the idea of having visual spots invokes fear in a lot of people. That is likely because on television and in movies, "seeing spots" occurs when someone is poisoned or about to pass out. Also, the eyes are connected to the brain, and many people are afraid that something is wrong with their bran when their eyes start to have more spots in them. One of the problems though is that people describe these spots differently, and may be talking about different problems when referring to how they see spots. Visual Snow One type of "spot" that people might see is visual snow. Visual snow is when you look at something dark against a lighter background, often in low lighting, and you see what looks like rapid snowflakes falling across your field of vision: Visual noise can cause a great deal of fear in people, because one of the first things you notice on its Wikipedia page is that visual snow can be caused by Multiple Sclerosis, or MS. MS is one of the major fears of those with panic attacks and severe anxiety, since so many of the same symptoms are linked to multiple sclerosis. It's impossible to rule out an MS diagnosis without first seeing a doctor. But you should note that MS is a rare disease, and one that doesn't usually manifest itself in minor symptoms. So while it's conceivably possible that those with visual snow have MS, it's also highly unlikely. It's not clear why those with anxiety seem to have visual snow. One theory is that the visual snow is natural - many people experience this type of vision problem with no apparent cause at all - and that those with anxiety are simply more prone to noticing it and worrying that something is wrong. It's also possible that adrenaline causes changes to the eye that causes this snow to occur, or that eye strain and tiredness may play a role. Visual snow is worth getting checked out, especially if you're having problems reading, but it is also a sign of anxiety and generally not something to be too concerned about.

Hi. There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium can worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips — may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Management: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Use Bakson's Apricot scrub at least once a week. For Dark Circles: Dark circles can be temporary (means happens after any recent or chronic diseases or underlying medical condition, allergies, sinus infections and nasal congestions, lower eyelid laxity, fluid retention, hormonal imbalances, hyperpigmentation, aging, sun-exposure, insufficient sleep, worm-infestation, nutritional deificiency, working long hrs. on computer, lack of rest, stress/ tension, etc.) which can be improved by fixing the underlying cause or the problem or can be inherited from your parent's genes which can't be treated or cured! Management: Eat healthy and on time. Avoid junk. Drink plenty of water (as dehydration can cause dull or patchy skin). Sleep well. Wear anti-glare spectacles while working on computer. The area under your eyes has very sensitive skin, so never use chemical bleach.

If you want to lighten your complexion, there are natural remedies that you can try to brighten your skin a few shades. Since many commercial creams are ineffective or unhealthy to use, turning to natural methods to get fairer skin is a smart choice. A common household ingredient — lemon juice — works especially well to lighten skin tone. Staying out of the sun and using natural facial masks will also keep your skin from getting darker. Protect yourself from the sun. Most of the normal darkening and discoloration of your skin is caused by exposure to the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays. If you're extremely concerned about having fairer skin, staying indoors will keep your skin as light as possible. When that's not possible, protect your skin use SPF sunblock with a minimum SPF of 30. Most dermatologists agree an SPF 15 is not sufficient anymore. Dangerous UVA and UVB rays are still reaching your skin. You want 98% or more of the sun's rays to be blocked. Wear a hat to protect your face when you're outside. Especially in the summer. There are so many fashionable hats these days, you can also be a trend-setter while you are protecting your skin. Exfoliate your skin a few times a week. Doing manual exfoliation can really help to lighten the skin, since the process takes off dead skin cells. Keep in mind that exfoliation only helps if your current skin is darker than your normal skin tone, because it reveals fresh skin that is untouched by the sun. You can exfoliate your skin manually by using a body scrub or face wash with exfoliating particles. To make your own, just add a teaspoon of ground almonds or oatmeal to your regular cleanser. Using a scrub brush or a dry brush is a great way to exfoliate your entire body. For your face, use a special brush with softer bristles so you don't damage the fragile skin there. Keeping your skin healthy by protecting it from the sun, exfoliating and using natural lightening methods is your best bet for keeping it on the lighter side in tone. Remember that consistency is the key, and do your facial treatments several times a week. For medication consult online in private.

Hello Doctor, Can you say me about black heads its on my nose. What kind of treatment should i do for this black head...
Blackheads look like a black small lump embedded on the skin. It is nothing but accumulation of oil and dead skin cells in the open pores. The main cause behind the occurrence of blackheads is the absence of a regular skin cleansing system. Take care of your skin and make sure it is thoroughly clean. Try to wash your skin properly at least two times a day. It is better to use an anti-bacterial facial cleanser to keep your skin clean from oil, germs and makeup particles and dust. Use a mild scrubber to scrub the infected skin two to three times in a week. Here you can work very gently and patiently to remove the dead skin cells from the skin surface. Do not handle your skin roughly. Buy a good quality herbal deep cleaning face mask. For better result use a mask having ingredients like citric acids or mud. Such types of face mask will take care of the excessive oil which is the reason behind blackheads. You must use the face mask once or twice in a week but not more than that. Healthy diet also plays a key role in reducing the occurrence of blackheads. Include fresh fruits and green vegetables in your diet and stop taking too much fried and oily food. A good diet plan will help in reducing sebum production, increasing the moisture level in the skin and production of new skin cells. You must also eat less oily food and drink lots of fluids. When you drink fluids, your skin will remain well moisturized and the toxins from the body will flush away. This will result in smooth skin with no blackheads. Try to use clean bed sheet, pillow case and towel. Wash them regularly as when your face come in contact with you bed sheet, pillow case and towel it can accumulate dirt, oil and germs which can cause more blackheads. Oily hair can also lead to more blackheads. So it is important to wash your hair often to keep it oil free. In case you do not have the time to wash your oily hair, then try to pull your hair back and tie it in a ponytail so that your hair remains away from your face. Never make the mistake of squeezing the blackheads as it is not a hygienic way to get rid of them. Also squeezing can cause a scar on the skin or some kind of skin infection.

Home remedy:-1.Cucumbers have skin-lightening and mild astringent properties that help fix those raccoon eyes naturally. Plus, they have a soothing and refreshing effect. Cut a fresh cucumber into thick slices and chill them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Put the slices onto the affected skin area for about 10 minutes. Wash the area with water. Repeat twice daily for about a week or more. Another option is to mix cucumber juice with lemon juice in equal amounts. Use a cotton ball to apply the mixture on the affected skin.
